Happy New Year

I hope you have a Happy New Year. I hope some of you get so drunk that police officers will pull you over, make you take a breath test with a tube stuck in your mouth, make you walk a straight line which is something you cannot do, and they give you a DWI and send you to jail. I hope some of you end up

seeing the ball drop while sitting there in your jail cell. In order for me to enjoy the new year coming in, is for you to all get out of my way. I hope some of you get so drunk that you will have a helluva hangover when you wake up on New Year's Day, finding yourself in a jail cell in bed with Bubba; while others find themselves waking up in bed with someone else's spouse! This is the difference between Christmas and New Year. Forget about "unto us a child is born," "peace," and "goodwill to men (and women)." It's totally the opposite. It's disrespect for your fellow man and woman and getting them in trouble because you decided to be a donkey's ass.
For those assholes who ruin it for the rest of us celebrating the new year, this prayer is for you. I hope you do get messed up with a bad hangover and end up with Bubba violating your person!

Thank You.

When does your car battery die?

It dies during the holidays and that's what it did. I knew I need to change it. This is something I had to do. I was glad I was in my hometown when it did. So when I got roadside assistance at Braum's to get the battery charged up, I went to Wal-Mart and I purchased a new one and got it installed. If you don't insurance coverage for roadside assistance or it expired earlier this year, you can be charged a little over $60 just to have someone come over to where you're at and charge up your battery. After that, I go to Wal-Mart to get a new one installed. When you pay for it, always keep the receipt. I was charged $69 to get that done. I expect to pay for a new battery, but to be charged for roadside assistance after not having to use it before. I got ripped off. Was there even a hint there was something wrong when I started the car on the way to Braum's? If I knew there was a slight bit of something wrong when I turned on the ignition, I would have gone to Wal-Mart anyway and get the new battery installed, while I went to the store itself to buy milk and orange juice there instead, hence saving me over $60. Oh well, we all learn. When something goes wrong with the car, it always seems to happen around this time of year. What about summer? Well, not always. I often go to see about getting my car fixed and ready, making sure there would be no additional problems with the car. Then, when there is no problem, you leave town. Winter? I didn't leave town. I never thought there was a problem. It seemed to be running fine until the time I tried to leave to Braum's parking lot. But, now that I got it fixed, my car is running fine and I am fine. The ordeal only lasted less then two hours. And I have my health and I thank God that's all there was wrong with the car. It needed a new battery. It could have been worse. I wasn't stranded on some lost highway. And nothing serious went wrong with the car and that I did not have an accident. I thank God (Allah SWT) that everything turned out alright. So, it only cost me over $60. I am thankful it didn't cost me much more than that.

Santa Killings

This is sick. A deranged man who goes through a divorce, goes on a killing spree, dresses as Santa Klaus, pays a visit to a family of former in-laws, rings the door bell, kills a little girl, then kills whoever else is in the house, sets fire to the house, burns it down, and killing eight people trapped inside the burning house. Most of you have heard about already, so I don't need to say where it happened. After that, he goes and kills himself. This ruins the perception innocent kids can have about Santa Klaus when some psycho dresses like him and does this. This is one incident. I would not be surprised if this is happening everywhere. Some psycho out there is not happy. So, he sees to it that nobody else around him is not happy and goes on a warpath to destroy lives. It is the times we live. Many Jews, Muslims, and Christians say we are living in the end times. It must be what it is. The one we celebrate at Christmas is the one who is coming again soon.

It's cold outside

What? A slow newsday? I hear a lot about it being very cold outside. Apparently, I lucked out.
It's cold, but there is no snow or ice on the ground while most of the country got piles and piles of snow and ice. From where I live, it will warm up during Christmas and we will get a lot of rain. No white Christmas this year while the rest of us already got their wish and now wishing it would all go away. Well, anti-Clinton troubadour Ken Starr will head the California Prop 8 Defense team. Conservatives will be receiving in their mailboxes a letter from Ken Starr and a plea from Ken from them a large donation to the defense team. I know how this works. I used to receive mail from all kinds of political groups asking me for a donation with a letter that is written in a way that tells me they are fighting for what is right and good for the country while the other side wants to destroy the country. This is how they get their money. Land in Utah up for the highest bidder, like the Arches. There might be some oil buried under there. People are protesting in Salt Lake City over this while a student went to the auction to bid for land, even though he didn't have the money, throwing monkey wrenches at the bidding, ready to go to jail for what he believes, and be charged with committing fraud. While the news has been about Caylee all day long, Rachel Maddow puts in some topics not mentioned all day in the press, which is some of those I have mentioned. The Cheney-Biden verbal boxing match. Shoes thrown at a cardboard of Blagojevich's likeness in Chicago. Haven't you heard? Shoe-throwing is the new protest cry!
But, it cold outside and now that Caylee is dead which I hated to hear and it's sad, the press are still going to talk about this and go on and on about it while other kids are turning up missing every minute as we blog, speak, or watch news on TV.

The Holidays

Well, it's the Christmas holiday again. Time to get out the old flicks that relate to this special occasion that comes once a year. Time off from work to enjoy such flicks like "The Hebrew Hammer" and "Friday After Next," two of the most recent all-time Christmas classics where Santa is looked at through a different kind of lens. In one, Santa Klaus dies and his evil son takes over the role to utterly destroy Hanukkah and it is up to the Hebrew Hammer to defeat Evil Klaus to save Hanukkah. In the other film, Santa Klaus is a thief who roams around the ghetto
breaking in people's homes, stealing all of their gifts on Christmas Eve night. There are some other Christmas I might like to see, such as "Four Christmases," but I would want to see it as a matinee feature. I would not fork in 9 or 10 bucks to see it. On Christmas Day, Tom Cruise, back from his Scientology relapse and his conniption fits, stars as the guy who wants to stop Hitler from within in with the movie entitled, "Valkyrie." Oh, just what we need. Another movie about freakin' Hitler and World War II. It should be well known what Hitler did for many who know anything about history. All except for David Irving, Mark Weber, and Osama bin Laden. Hitler represented everything that was evil about this world and who wanted to annihilate a whole religion and its people and annihilate many others, too all in the name of a "purified," "superior" race to rule the world with an iron fist. So many films and documentaries are found concerning this as well as books on the subject. Well, okay, I may go see it when it debuts if I don't have anything else to do on Christmas night or sometime after that. I keep putting off things I might like to do, but many important things keeps getting in the way. Many other films are coming out such as the one Will Smith stars called "Seven Pounds." I hope I got the title right. Hmm, don't know if this is worth while.

Anyway, I hope to post more before Christmas Day. Around this time, Jews observe Hanukkah and Muslims, for some who are able and can afford to go, are partaking the hajj or pilgrimage to Mecca and Medina. While those events are going on, we have the Eagleback Bowl, a college bowl no one has never heard of before where Wake Forest was playing Navy (the Naval Academy).
Also, there is college basketball where 1-A schools play and pounce on those from the 1-AA.
You know, the usual things that holidays so unique.

I guess that's it for now.

12/13/08: President-Elect Obama's Weekly Address

To those against the auto bailout

To those Republicans and the three Democrats who voted no on the auto bailout had only one thing on their minds. It is to bust union jobs, all 3 million of them! Also, they voted to see to it that cars made here in America by these big 3 American automakers will never be made here in America again! Thanks a lot! Now, will Bush save these guys with a bailout? As Michael Moore would say, "Fat Chance!"

Time to weigh in on Blagojovich

Before this story appeared in the nightly news, I never knew who the Illinois governor was or even cared to know since I don't live in the Land of Lincoln. Then, when I heard about it, I was thinking, "My God, Illinois is runned by the mafia." The language, it's appalling coming from an elected official. Gov. Blago wanted to sell Obama's vacant Senate seat to the highest bidder? He considered this seat to be freakin' golden? I take it that he's mad at Pres.-elect Obama for not offering him a cabinet position. So, he said "Bleep him!" If nobody else says this about Blago, I will say it for them. This governor is a scumbag with brain about the size of a peanut. He should stay in jail. But, of course, he's not. A bigger scumbag than him coughed up money to bail him out. After all of this, he wanted to remain as governor although Obama has called for him to resign. He should resign and he should leave the state. Better yet, leave the country. The senate should never be up for sale. He wanted money coughed up from whoever wants it so he can fill up his campaign warchest. The man's definitely a politician and as a politician, he lives the stereotype of what a politician would do. The stereotype of any politician is an elected official who is a crook. Blago is definitely from the Daley machine and to this day, he lives up to the Daley name. For the sake of the people of Illinois, I hope demands and actions are taken to force him out of office. Also, this episode could hurt Obama later on down the road if nothing is done.

Making mistakes

"How do you feel?"

Answer : "Okay." But, done in a sarcastic way because it is not okay.

"Don't feel bad. Everybody makes mistakes. It is a part of learning __ __."

But I do feel bad. Make a mistake at a job and the boss is after you. You know you have a made of mistake and he knows it too. You got to be careful next time and pay attention.

All of this get me to thinking about all the mistakes we make even if I were doing things during my free time from work. Am I praying enough and studying enough? Am I living life the way it should be. When I think about it, I end up paying for my mistakes and yes, I feel bad, and I feel like running away. When someone makes a mistake and know it and don't want to face it, he runs away. But, I won't run away. I will face this tomorrow and know that I need to pay close attention. But, it don't erase the fact that I feel bad. So, when the day is done, I went home.
That's all there is to it.

Who supports these guys?

Shortwave radio is known throughout the world as world band radio. Here in the states, stations are picked up from many parts of world, but not only that, there is also these domestic blow torches we also receive such as stations on 3.185 WWRB, 3.215, and 5.070 MHz both brought to us by WWCR. These stations give us "Brother Stair" from Overcomer Ministry, Alex Jones, and various shouters that appear on the radio. Many of them tell us this basic message about how we Americans got where we are today and they put the blame on someone or some group like, for example, Adam Wieshaupt and the Illuminati. Some of the craziest stuff I can ever hear come from this radio market and WWCR also receives ads to support their station. I don't know whatever happened to WBCQ on 7.415 MHz. I have not been listening to this station recently and it is not on the air right now. This station plays various music programs and offers listeners their own show to be broadcast on the station for a fee owned by Allen Wiener. They also had A.J. on there from New Jersey who would get on the station and scream about illegal immigration and the undocumented workers. So, other than Hal Turner, this could have his sidekick. And yes, Hal Turner aired his show on WBCQ. These stations can give the radio listeners living in an sub-Saharan African village a bad impression about the U.S. since there is no internet or satellite TV. Well who supports these guys? Small contributions cannot be all they get. It is quite expensive to run a radio station from the air and it is expensive to run a world band radio station. This is the reason why many outlets such as the BBC have just about done away with shortwave broadcasting and now broadcast over the Internet instead. They also broadcast over pay radio such as Sirius or XM. Where BBC used to be on shortwave is where you may find Radio Netherlands instead.

Dr. Zakir Naik is the founder of the Islamic Research Foundation in Mumbai, India. He is also the owner of the Peace TV network. He is preceived to follow the Wahhabi tradition and this is what makes him very unpopular amongst many other Indian Muslims. He made a controversial statement sometime before the terror attack at Mumbai. He said he didn't know if Osama Bin Laden was a terrorist. He said that Osama Bin Laden was not the one who attacked America on 9/11 overtly or covertly, not saying anything about him orchestrating the attack and these guys following his orders. Also, he considered Yazid to be a prophet and offered him peace. Yazid was a caliph who murdered Hassan, the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). He is disliked amongst those of the Deobandi Muslim community. His IRF conferences draw thousands upon thousands of people, which is a concern to many Indian citizens. Some communities are planning to ban these conferences. And many wonder, who supports Dr. Zakir Naik and Peace TV? Is it possible they get it from Saudi Arabia? Al-Qaida?
This is my rant for today. Who supports them? Where do they get their money?

I hope your day has been a good day.

Quranic Quotes - Surah 5:109-120

One day will Allah gather the apostles together, and ask: "What was the response ye received (From men to your teaching)?" They will say, "We have no knowledge: it is Thou Who knowest in full all that is hidden."

Then will Allah say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Recount My favour to thee and to thy mother. Behold! I strengthened thee with the holy spirit, so that thou didst speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. Behold! I taught thee the Book of Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel and behold! thou makest out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, by My leave, and thou breathest into it and it becometh a bird by My leave, and thou healest those born blind and the lepers, by My leave. And behold! I did restrain the Children of Israel from (violence to) thee when thou didst show them the clear Signs, and the unbelievers among them, said: "This is nothing but evident magic."

"And behold! I inspired the disciples to have faith in Me and Mine Messenger, they said, 'We have faith, and do thou bear witness that we bow to Allah as Muslims.'"

Behold! the disciples, said: "O Jesus the son of Mary! can thy Lord send down to us a table set (with viands) from heaven?" Said Jesus: "Fear Allah, if ye have faith."

They said: "We only wish to eat thereof and satisfy our hearts, and to know that thou hast indeed told us the truth, and that we ourselves may be witnesses to the miracle."

Said Jesus the son of Mary: "O Allah our Lord! Send us from heaven a table set (with viands, that there may be for us - for the first and last of us - a solemn festival and a sign from thee; and provide for our sustenence, for thou art the best Sustainer (of our needs)."

Allah said: "I will send it down unto you: But if any of you after that resisteth faith, I will punish him with a penalty such as I have not inflicted on any one among all the peoples."

And behold! Allah will say: "O Jesus the son of Mary! Didst thou say unto men, worship me and my mother as gods (ilahs) in derogation of Allah?" He will say: "Glory to Thee! never could I say what I had no right (to say). Had I said such a thing, thou wouldst indeed have known it. Thou knowest what is in my heart, Thou I know not what is in Thine. For Thou knowest in full all that is hidden.

"Never said I to them aught except what Thou didst command me to say, to wit, 'worship Allah, my Lord and your Lord'; and I was a witness over them whilst I dwelt amongst them; when Thou didst take me up Thou wast the Watcher over them, and Thou art a witness to all things.

"If Thou dost punish them, they are Thy servant: If Thou dost forgive them, Thou art the Exalted in power, the Wise."

Allah will say: "This is a day on which the truthful will profit from their truth: theirs are gardens, with rivers flowing beneath, - their eternal Home: Allah well-pleased with them, and they with Allah. That is the great salvation, (the fulfilment of all desires).

To Allah doth belong the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is therein, and it is He Who hath power over all things.

------

Differences:

Christians believe in the Trinity, 3 in 1, but the word "trinity" is not found in the Bible. God the Father, Jesus His Son, and the Holy Spirit all the same God.

For Muslims, the word "trinity" is found in the Qur'an, but God is One God only and no one and nothing else can partner with Him. "La ilaha illa Allah muhammadun rasallulah" is found multiple times in the Qur'an, meaning, "there is no god but Allah and Muhammad (SAW) is His messenger."

A warning about filing weekly claims

Make sure you answer questions correctly. Like the first question, "Did you work for an employer for which you were paid or will be paid?" This will mess you up if you say yes, even though you did not work all last week, but still are employed with your company. If you say yes,
it is like you are not unemployed and that you have ceased receiving unemployment pay. You must say no. Otherwise, the DWS will want you to stand in line for 5 hours in order to be assisted.
Even if you want this question corrected, they want you to do that. If you call them, they will not answer you or forwarding to someone who might, but is not there to answer you either.

In my situation, I am still employed but my company is on some down time. So, receiving unemployment pay should not be a concern and since, I will be back to work next week, I am not wasting 5 hours of time standing in line so that somebody can tell me that my payment is denied because of holiday pay. Even if I get this situation corrected, it isn't worth it. I still have some cash to supplement me, so why go through this? If I mess up on answering one question that I
want corrected, I cannot get it corrected immediately. The DWS seems to want people to be stressed and stained and maybe become maniacs to get their attention only to have this problem runned up on my behind. It's not worth it. Either let the mistake stand as it is and not get pay or stand in line so nothing really gets done. No, let the mistake stand, enjoy the time off when you have it, and go back to work Monday. Then, when the time comes to file again, make sure I do not make that mistake again. This is my only option right now.

Well, tomorrow is the big shopping day. Sorry. I will not be up that early to go to a front door of some major retail chain, partaking in some organized shopping, buying mob, and then wait for the door to open and then, trample everything and everybody to find bargains for Christmas. No way, no how. If you want to do that, go ahead. The economy is depending on you! Then, ask yourself.

Will Mike Huckabee ever go away?

He was the former governor of Arkansas who ran for president in 2008. He writes and publishes a book entitled "Do The Right Thing," ironically the same title for one of Spike Lee's movies and the same title of an old school rap song performed by Redhead Kingpin and the F.B.I. Crew. I may go and find that video and dig it up on this site. Mike Huckabee is a host of some show I don't watch on the Fox News Channel or Fix the News Channel. Apparently, he is campaigning now to get ready for 2012 because he was in Iowa when he agreed to be interviewed by Rachel Maddow on MSNBC. Overexposure is going to hurt him. He is already appearing to be too much of an megalomaniac. He has no plans to run for the U.S. Senate in Arkansas against incumbent Blanche Lincoln in 2010. He would have a better chance to win that than to run for president again. He is also a preacher and it may be time for him to get into preaching again with a message coming from the heart; not just spitting out words he thinks people want to hear, putting down Mitt Romney, Sarah Palin and Fred Thompson. This has proven to me how much the GOP has lost it with me. There is some ad coming from some conservative group with individuals thanking Sarah Palin, a political move in my mind to raise funds for 2012. The dude running it still holds a grudge against Barack Obama and his success and definitely does not wish him the best. He holds him to be an enemy against America. Campaign's over!! And this proves who the real Sore-Losermans are, including Mike Huckabee.

So Much

Bismillah Arrahman Arraheem.

So Much on my mind, I don't know where to begin. The GOP is lost forever in my mind. I can never vote Republican for the rest of my life. They, in Congress, are vehemently opposed to the auto bailout of our 3 major auto manufacturers. They are willing to let them hit the tank, go bankrupt, thus, resulting of possibly laying off 3 million workers!!!! The Democrats and Obama cannot let this happen. It's a 25 billion dollar bailout and I know that this is coming from taxpayers, but it is part of that $700 billion package that Congress voted for anyway to bail out the banks and mortgage companies. C'mon! Let's save the American auto industry and keep workers their jobs. We are all hurting. I wish the refrigerator industry was offered a bailout. That would be great, so that workers who lost their jobs last week may all get to come back. Change.gov is a wonderful web site to get hold of and to read to find out what is in on Pres.-elect Obama's agenda. I hope all of it gets implemented through; a plan to save this country from economic meltdown and to clean everything up to where this country can be respected again throughout the world. I want to live a country where people throughout the world love it and respect it and that, as a traveler, I have less to worry about. Too many Americans will go around the world saying they are Canadian if they go somewhere where Americans aren't that well-liked or respected. If they are light-completed, they say they are Canadian. If they are dark-completed, then it's Mexican. If they are black, well, Jamaican or Barbadian, or whatever else. Who knows? Just pick any nationality and lie, hoping you can enjoy your stay much more pleasantly.

I can't stand Al-Qaida, the phony Muslims. Al-Zawahiri, the Base's second man, calls Pres.-elect Obama 'a house nigger.' I read this on the AOL Latino page. Well, fuck you, too, Al-Zawahiri. I hope you and Bin Laden get blowned to Hell. Allah will not let you to Jannah, that beautiful garden where the rivers flow. I know that now. And where are these 72 beautiful virgins? I never read anything about that in the Qur'an. Al-Qaida, you are nothing but pieces of shit and shit is what you walk on. Oh, Obama doesn't compare to Malcolm X, huh? I know this. From what I read about Malcolm X and from watching Spike Lee's movie, Malcolm X converted to become a real Muslim before he was shot by phony Muslims of Elijah Muhammad's ilk. You, Al-Qaida, would fit in with that ilk that took away Malcolm X's life before he could do a lot of good to bring about peace and harmony for both blacks and whites in America through his new faith, Islam. Al-Qaida, you have done more to make more non-Muslims hate Muslims without really knowing any real Muslims personally and finding out that they are not like you phony Muslims who want to kill themselves so at the same time kill others around them while doing so. You have gotten the non-Muslims thinking that all Muslims, 1.5 billion of them around the world, are nothing more than dangerous suicide-homicide sado-masachist murderers. Nothing in the Qur'an and in the Hadiths I can find condone anything as insane, as vituperating, as toxic as that. Al-Qaida, if you even have souls at all. I am not even sure that Jesus Christ himself could forgive you to join the Christian family. He may have to ask God first. I am afraid the answer is no. So, it must be final for you. You are going to Hell and you have nothing left to live for except to make this dying world more of a dying world, working against what good there is in this world, making more people suffer including fellow Muslims who know what you are doing is not Islam!!! So, here is how I end it. Lord I hope Bin Laden is captured. To hell with him and his rich Wahhabi relatives in Saudi Arabia who follow a sect of Islam that destroys the human soul! To hell with Bush who in 2002 became disinterested in finding Bin Laden and instead bringing up war to Iraq. And, again, to Hell with Al-Qaida. And like the Rude Pundit, I don't give a rat's behind what readers think of this. But unlike him, you are free to comment away. I guess I will end it for now.

Your Weekly Address from the President-Elect

The latest

This is Barack Obama's weekly address as of Nov. 15. Last night, I had to say goodbye to people who just had lost their jobs here at home and I will no longer work on the swing shift. I will be going back to 1st shift. I hope things will turn around soon, so that these people who just lost their jobs will either get their old jobs back or find a new job and a better job. I want to remain positive. God willing, I hope we will get through this.

Football time

As the Hogs are losing almost all of their games, the Div. 1-AA UCA Bears continues to win theirs.
They beat out the Demons of Northwestern State with an impressing, whopping score of 42-6.
The weather was rather cold. Most fans who watched the game at Estes Stadium did not stay for the entire game. It was too cold to sit in the stands. It seems when games like this are not as competitive, all people would want to do is get out of there and go home. I also did as well, but I was far away from home. So, I stayed at a motel. I did a little tailgating before the game and I had plenty to eat and it was free, since I am an Alumni member. I ate pizza and cake, and I washed it on down with a Pepsi. Overall, it was a good time to be away from home for the weekend and to get away from the troubles that abound. Well, it looks like it's back to the grind again.

Election finally over

I am pleased with the results of this presidential election. Barack Obama will be our 44th president of the United States. This is good for this country and it is good for the world.
I've spent my time putting it all in me at a watch party. There was jubilation, excitement,
astonishment, and this calls for a celebration. Democracy is back! I was excited and ecstatic.
I yelled so much that my throat is very sore from all the hollering I did at the bar. There are
no words to say about this event. I'd never thought I would see this day come in my lifetime on earth. I worked hard contacting callers in two states for three days. But, when the projections came with Obama passing the 270 mark, Montana and Missouri did not matter as much as they did. But, callers like myself worked very hard and it is obvious. These states were too close to call
for most of the night. I'm glad the election is finally over. For any of you reading this, please pray for Barack Obama and his family. Pray for their safety from these violent wing nuts possessed by the jinn and the shayatan. America is back! Democracy has returned with a man who is truly elected by the people and for the people and most importantly, is of the people.

Calls for Obama

Today, I have made a few calls for the Obama campaign. Most of them were positive when I called people on the list from the Show Me State of Missouri. From talking to them, I can see Obama winning this state, but it is going to be very close. Arkansas Obama supporters are working hard on Missouri, since Arkansas is a hard sell. I have made about 16 calls from my cell phone. I am just calling from home. I am not working at some switchboard. I was just bored today with nothing to do. I have already cleaned the house. So, I've decided to give it a try using the Obama web site. I only receive one negative call for the GOP. When that happens, I just say thank you very much and go on to the next call. I also gave Montana a try. I have made 4 calls to Montana, a state Obama believe he could win. I didn't get to talk to anyone from there, so I left them a message urging them to vote on November 4 and to please, cast their votes for Barack Obama. Now, Montana is the state Barack Obama won in the Democratic primary. It is the state that helped him win the Democratic nomination. But, it is one state that has always been a hard sell for the Democrats. But, the polls do show him and McCain neck and neck in Big Sky country.
I may call these people in Montana again tomorrow. I feel like I could win this one for Obama all by myself. I live in the south, but I am a westerner by heart. Bismillah Arrahman Arraheem, Barack Obama will win on Tuesday night!

Vote Early

There may be time before Election Day to do this. Vote early before Nov. 4! Last Wednesday, I found the opportunity to do so at the courthouse. I found free parking in front of the courthouse and I got in line before lunchtime to vote. There was only six people in front of me in line. I got to the table, showed my ID (my driver's license), was asked if I wanted a paper ballot or vote electronically, and then I voted. I picked paper BTW. I don't trust those electronic machines. I got my vote out of the way and I am free to do other things on Nov. 4 than to stand in line and vote. Alhumdulillah!

Leaning to the right...

....will lead you to anarchy and chaos. If you tilt to the right politically more and more, you will have no government. When you have a nation with no central government whatsoever, you will have lawlessness, anarchy, riots, and chaos. Many citizens would have to seek political and economic asylum somewhere else where conditions are much more stable. When you lean far to the right, you don't have a limited, smaller government. Government ceases to exist and there goes Social Security and Medicare for seniors who have retired and are now too old to go back to work. There would be no jobs, no paved roads and highways, bridges would collapse. No funding for these projects people rely on. No funding for the military fighting over in Iraq and Afghanistan. No economic stimulus packages. No laws we need to obey to bring about some order. Gangs start to take over the streets and our lives, pushing us around. No funding for police officers to fight crime. Every man and woman fending for himself and herself with a rifle in their hands to fight off gangs, drug dealers, and crackheads and this won't just be happening in the inner cities. It will happen in the suburbs, exurbs, the small towns, and the rural areas. In other words, everywhere. This is what we would be faced with under no government. The rich will live in gated communites with a small authority protecting them as fiefdoms, otherwise known as homeowner associations; the only government there is left. If you lean right and vote for such McCarthyites like the McCain-Palin, you will have hell to pay and if you are not rich, life will be a lot more stressful. No jobs, no money, lawlessness, chaos, riots, thuggery everywhere, and many of us may have to flee to Canada or Mexico or fly overseas to get away from the incoming madness.

The Obama-Biden team will not make those kinds of auguments. This may be too extreme to make in reference to McCain-Palin.

But, McCain and Palin tries in their last attempt to paint Obama as a "socialist" or a "redistributionist." C'mon! We have a progressive income tax system and that's not going to change anytime soon. Joseph McCarthy's ghost lives inside the GOP and hoping the way polls are going, the GOP will not succeed.

I would rather have big government than to have no government. This may be the issue in this election if you think about it.

DLL errors again

The things that I have to go through to get my computer running normally has taken its toll.
I thank God that I have had used this computer for the last 8 years and I believe it's time for a new computer. But, I finally got it working again. To get my lost rundll32 executive file back, I ended up having to reinstall the Windows operating system. After that, I had to reinstall everything else to get it back to working normally again. I also parted my hard drive with SuSe Linux and I wish I can get Internet connection with it or I would do away with Windows totally.
Then, I had to reinstall my ethernet card and reestablish the Internet connection with AT&T.
It is not worth the time. I rather be relaxing, watching football, "Desperate Housewives," or whatever else than to mess with this machine. I think it's time, but I am holding on to my finances. I never know if I will have job in the following year or not. So, part of the weekend was totally occupied with this mess. What was our lives like without using these "conveniences?"
I believe we were all better off.

Priorities Not in the Right Place

First of all, Peace be unto you all who read my ramblings.

Now here is what I am writing about today. The economy is tumbling down and more layoffs are reported everywhere. I know people who are about to be laid off from their jobs, but the priorities are skewed. These folks are about to lose income and they spend time talking about their thrills visiting the nearest local casino. The last thing anyone should do is take their hard-earned money, their money they receive after taxes, and blow it on gambling, taking a risk of losing whatever is left in their bank accounts. Yes, Sen. McCain, lower income people do pay taxes! The priorities are all wrong. When the economy is down, the business industry that should go bankrupt first is the gambling industry. It should not booming as it is doing in Oklahoma.

That's all I have to say on the subject.

Next, I have sent another small donation to the Obama-Biden team and then, I've sent an e-mail to some dreadful Republicans, inviting them to join the campaign. I hope to hear from these prominent windbags soon. When I do, I am printing their email on my blog. I was prompted to do it, because the ghost of Joe McCarthy and some remnants of the John Birch Society has taken over the GOP and the most vile attacks have resulted from the McCain-Palin campaign. Pat Buchanan, as hard as he tried, could not give out the best defense for Palin over her ignorance of what the Vice-President actually does. Buchanan knows very well that the Vice-President only can make the deciding vote on a Senate bill when the Senate is split on a 50-50 tie. That's the only real power the VP has in the Senate. The VP is not the Senate boss. Buchanan tries to spend it around to defend Palin. They are desperate. Buchanan said that Colin Powell endorse Sen. Obama because of race. Wrong again. Buchanan was hoping that MSNBC viewers did not watch Meet The Press last Sunday morning. Colin Powell said that he told Obama that he would not vote for him because of race. He would vote for him because he would offer America "transformation in leadership," leadership this country needs. Race is definitely not a factor. Again, the Republicans are desperate and they are losing it.

Economy is down. Casinos? A different story

Casino gambling is a booming business in Oklahoma, despite of the bad economy. Indian casinos gambling is a thriving $2.5 billion dollar business with casinos and hotels built in various parts of the Sooner State. Arkansas has no lottery and no casinos, but for those who live along the Oklahoma border, there is a casino located right near the Arkansas Line. For example, Choctaw Casino, Inc. has a location in Pocola, OK. The casino is located right on the Arkansas line near the city of Fort Smith. Cherokee Casino, Inc. has a location in Roland, just 6 miles from downtown Fort Smith. The Katoowah tribe wants to build a hotel and casino near downtown Fort Smith, but this is not legally possible. Casino gambling is illegal in Arkansas. The only thing Arkansas has is an initiative on the state ballot for people vote for the lottery to fund education in the Natural State.
That may pass, but many voters believe that this will lead to making casino gambling legal. Hence, the formation of the Katoowah hotel and casino. A religious war over this issue has started here over gambling. Arkansas could become the place to be left without a lottery and/or casino gambling. Every state that borders Arkansas has either a lottery or casino gambling, one or the other or both. Arkansas has some gambling; it's church bingo and the Oaklawn horse races in Hot Springs.
Personally, I am opposed to lotteries and casino gambling. There are two casinos located very close to where I live, but I never go and frequent these places. I don't buy lottery tickets. The chances to win hundreds of millions of dollars are very slim for me. Regardless, if Arkansas joins the bordering states or not, I still won't participate. But, what makes it so bad as the economy tanks with layoffs and budget cuts is that fact that these casinos are experiencing a boom and if I lose my job and there is a job offer to me to work for an Indian casino, what am I going to do?
A person who is a Christian, a devout Jew, a Muslim, or a Muslim following the Sufi path could never work for a casino, an adult book store, or work for a liquor store. But if that's all there is,
what am I going to do? Starve? It's something to ponder about.

Everything is Set

Everything is set, except for one thing and this concerns me. Coming from the writings of Greg Palast, it's the attempt of the GOP to steal the election from Obama in some key states like Colorado and New Mexico. This is a concern of mine and the Obama campaign has to work even harder to win the election like they are the underdogs. The latest email from the campaign I've received said that "we are the underdogs until we win on Election Day," and also asking email subscribers for a quick donation. It's a good thing they do not depend on the polls and that they believe that the election will be very close. So, they will work ever harder to get more votes. Early voting starts Monday in my state and I imagine it is in many other states.

The JPB

The Jewish Press Blog is obviously a conservative blog that is afraid of Obama; afraid that if Obama become president, the United States would become a haven for Islamist terrorists and that all close relations with Israel would all end.

No, he would continue close relations with Israel and try the best he can to set up a two state solution to the problems going on in the Holy Land. Obama may not be successful but he will try his best to bring peace to the Holy Land and the rest of the Middle East.

Also, the blog like the hecklers would make up McCain's volunteer team, beats a dead horse over Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright. We have been over this time and time again; and Obama keeps on winning. He is not a radical Islamist. He's a not a Muslim. And there's a difference between the two and I can explain all of this later. From reading his book, "The Audacity of Hope," he became a Christian at a church Jeremiah Wright was the pastor. The pastor is a man who has a sin nature just like the rest of us and when one accepts Jesus Christ as his/her personal savior, it would not matter what views a pastor holds; it is a decision Obama made between himself and God. His name was passed down from his father. The man running for president is Barack Hussein Obama, Jr. This is what bothers so many people who just don't get it or don't want to know. His middle name bothers them and somehow they want to connect it to Saddam Hussein. It is a name and only a name. Jordan had a king, the father of the present Jordanian king, named Hussein. He was the good Hussein while the dude in Iraq was the bad Hussein. But that's not good enough for hecklers of McCain who are bad Republicans. If I were a Republican observing what is going on in the McCain-Palin campaign, I'd be ashamed. God, El, Eloah, Allah, I hope Obama wins so that all of these people can go home. Do these people have jobs to go to? They always like to say how lazy the liberals, Democrats, blacks, Latinos, poor whites are and how they don't want to work for a living. Well, they need to speak for themselves because they sure seem to have a lot of time on their hands.

Oh, we can't have dissent. There can be no opposition. John McCain is the new god now and we mustn't say nothing bad about their god. Here's how you can make their blood pressures go sky high to where you may find yourself in the middle of a lynching or an insurrection. Tell them, "La ilaha illa Allah." There is only one god, and it's Allah. He will live on even when everything else no longer exists, including them.

McCain goes and tells Cuban Floridians that "Cuba will be free." Oh, another war. We're going to invade Cuba if McCain gets it? Or is it just the GOP pandering to their vote like they have in the past fifty years, just like they pander to the evangelicals, the "Joe Six-Packs," and "Joe the Plumber."

To this pack, we should arrest anyone who is not patriotic. The fascists have taken over the McCain-Palin team and the maverick has lost control of it. "Muslim!" "Terrorist!" "Obama bin Lyin'!" "Kill him!" Does the Jewish Press Blog want to play into these people's fears and then, react like barking dogs? I guess so. They need the goyim to support their interests, the Likud Party of Israel's interests that is.

Other blogs will appear later. But, I will keep an eye on what they will post next.

What Has Happened to News

This is what is on my mind. CNN, MSNBC, and FNC do not cover enough real news. Where are the international headlines other than what could be found on such outlets as CNN International or Al-Jazeera English or what ever language one chooses? CNN, MSNBC, and FNC by themselves don't cover world news enough to suit me. Here's what I receive when I view at least one of them.
"Nancy Reagan has been hospitalized." "VP Dick Cheney is going to a hospital to have out-patient surgery on his heart." Strange, I didn't think he had one! A whole lot about the McCain campaign. A whole lot about the Obama campaign. All of the surrogates from both campaigns interviewed and asked questions they may answer or really don't answer. I am not getting informed about the world and my local newspaper is owned by a company that bents its politics to the right, the Stephens Group. The best thing they do for me as the local paper is inform me about who died. In other words, the obits. Okay, maybe a few reports about forgeries, assaults, misdemeanors, and thefts that occurred in the vicinity. But, that's about all. The Stephens Group is worried that Obama will become president. So, they get some crony to publish a column in the editorial page who makes more then $250,000 a year, writing about how he already pays more taxes anyway and that the lower 50%, the rest of us, don't pay any or not enough! The source he uses is from the Bush Administration's Treasury Dept., Oct. 2007. All I have to do is look at my stub from my paycheck and see that I pay plenty of taxes federal and state and I am certainly not rich and I make considerably less. If you want to read the article from Warren Stephens, here's the link from my local paper. The 2008 presidential race is the worst I have seen in my lifetime. I guess I am biased, but I have seen racism and xenophobia raise their ugly heads from volunteers of the McCain. Sexism is alive and well, too. I almost want to ignore what Sen. McCain says and offers to the American public. There's nothing coming from it since his volunteers are still continuing to sow the seeds of fear and hatred from his base. Gov. Sarah Palin appears to be the sexy cheerleader who plays the role as the barking, growling, bulldog for Sen. John McCain. She dresses in a way that would make some men dream about her and lust for her. Sen. Hillary Clinton never did that. She dressed in pants suits and no man would ever dream about her, except for maybe some men and women who wish she were the Dem. nominee.

Anyway, if I had to find out what was going on in Acre, Israel for example, I had to tune into Al-Jazeera on YouTube to know, not CNN, MSNBC, or FNC. What has happened to news when an American citizen chooses Al-Jazeera, a news media that gives you the latest threat from Osama bin Laden, for world news and input over the news media here in the U.S. Why would I have to get my info from Doha and not New York or Washington? I guess that is the world we live in.

My peace be unto you. Paz. Assalaam Alaykum. And Shalom.

My Bad

The controversy some on the religious right are bringing up on Obama is over some bills he voted against in the Illinois State Senate, bills known as "born alive" bills. The reason he opposed them was because they were backdoor attacks on a woman's legal right to an abortion, but if he were in the U.S. Senate during the time around 2002, he would have fully supported a similar federal bill that Pres. Bush signed into law because it contained protections for Roe v. Wade.

Link to this: FactCheck.org

The preacher last Sunday night was linking Barack Obama to the evil king from the Book of Kings and the Book of Chronicles, Manasseh, putting fear into the hearts of good Christian people about Sen. Obama.

According to II Kings 21, Manasseh 'did evil in the sight of the LORD, after the abomination of the heathen, whom the LORD cast out before the children of Israel.' Manasseh "built up again high places which Hezekiah his father destroyed; and reared up altars for Baal." And 'he made his son pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards; he wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger." And on and on, which any of you can read the rest of the chapter and get the rest of the story. You get the idea how evil Manasseh was. But, it is amazing how ministers, even though they never mention the candidate by name, would do the best to link Obama to someone who was as evil as that. Manasseh did so much damage to the tribe of Judah that "the LORD brought upon" all of them "the captains of the host of the king of Assyria" and bound Manasseh among thorns with fetters and carried him into Babylon. (II Chron. 33:11) But later Manasseh prayed for forgiveness and the LORD forgave him and "brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then he knew that the LORD he was God." (II Chron. 33:13) After reviewing all of this. I learned that God had forgiven Manasseh and that if He can forgive Manasseh, He certainly can forgive Barack Obama and also John McCain. He can forgive you and He can forgive me.

It was my bad because I was misunderstanding something I heard and I needed to search the information. As a result, the sermon was deep, but it didn't change who I will support. God, Allah, is most forgiving, the Ar-Rahaman Ar-Raheem.

Ah,,more later

I thought I need to write about something. I don't have everything in front of me right now. I heard a preacher say something about an abortion bill Barack Obama voted for in 2002 last Sunday night. The only problem with this info was that Sen. Obama was not a U.S. senator back in 2002. It has to be something he did back when he was in the Illinois State Senate, which must have been something most voters in the Land of Lincoln forgave him for doing. I will fact-check him later over this.
Later.

Sink a New Low

Assalaam Alaykum.

What kind of country do I live in now when there is a presidential campaign that has sunk to a new low because they cannot honestly debate the issues Americans care about with its opponents. Instead of debating them, they incite negative emotions amongst its supporters and they are acting like a lynch mob, convincing themselves that the Democratic opponent is some sort of terrorist over what some guy did 40 years ago back when the Democratic opponent was only 8 years old.
The McCain-Palin team is running a despicable, vindictive, vituperative, negative campaign that has sunk new lows against the Obama-Biden team. The issues are on Obama's side. I am praying that God, the Lord of the worlds, will be on Obama's side as well. John McCain has attracted the demons, the Jinns, the shayatin, to his campaign with lying speeches lectured by him, his wife Cindy, and Sarah Palin. It's disgusting to watch and many worry that McCain might actually win with his rhetoric. As the economy is heading to you-know-what, The McCain is character-assassinating "That One," because the race for the White House is slipping away from him. Why is so desperate for power? Arrogance perhaps. Maybe his wife may divorce if he doesn't make it, speaking on behalf of the beer lobby? Who knows. I find the link that McCain is connecting Obama with Bill Ayers very dishonest and deceiving, giving attention to the lowest common denominator of people attending his campaign stops. Now, I do read the Rude Pundit blog. I can't get as nasty as him. He describes the politics of all of this as a sexual orgasm and tells us who is better at it. Not me. I can't do that. The kind of campaign the McCain-Palin is bringing us is disingenuous and it doesn't help us in any way as the Dow Jones goes tumbling down. It doesn't help us find employment or get food on the table. People are hurting and they are looking for answers and the economy is weighing in on people's minds and it's affecting the world over. Hence, more homeless people and more starvation and what does the whole world get from America when they see the McCain campaign on TV. False accusations, blame over something that happened 40 years ago. There's racism and all of these rich people worrying about getting taxed, while somebody has lost their job. Nothing can be more pathetic than to see a politician bellyache over using guilt by association against an opponent and never offer any solutions to the problems we face.

John McCain's Rage is a National Security Concern

This is a campaign ad from a 527, which is no doubt. But, in this ad, there are Republicans who say they don't trust John McCain because of his temper.

Who won the VP debate?

In spite of the fact that Gov. Palin did very well, much better than these interviews she has had, I believe Sen. Biden won the debate. But, neither one told the entire truth or facts about either Sen. Obama or Sen. McCain. It was interesting to watch but I don't find it to be all that informative. I have nothing more to say about it, but I do believe that the Democrats do have a plan to end the war in Iraq and a plan to fix this economy. Republicans are doing the cheerleading for McCain and Gov. Palin fits the role of cheerleader right now.

Who won the debate?

Assalaam Alaykim. Ramadan Mubarak. Who won the debate last night? Nobody won. It's a toss up. The Obama camp says that the Obama camp won. The McCain camp says McCain did. I do think that Sen. Obama did quite well, but for me, he failed to point out how the working class is struggling under this trickle down economy and how this breakdown of this economy has failed them and that their best hope is to receive unemployment compensation and to hopefully trust in God that everything will get better after it gets worse. McCain wanted to put him on a corner about how Obama is a tax-and-spending liberal. I have heard all of that before. Republicans have been saying that about Democrats for the last 30 years. Instead of checking out a GOP-based group such as "Citizens Against Government Waste," it made be better to use thomas.gov as our source to check McCain's record and to check Obama's record. Barack Obama's ratings are getting higher if we can rely on the polls. But, I am afraid there will be fraud somewhere in this country to keep this election from being a fair election. We must look to Alhumdulillah Rabbiealamin than to look to a man to save us from calamity. I tend to favor one candidate over another as you can tell. I can be very biased, but the concern of Gov. Palin as a possible president if something happened to Sen. McCain is something I don't want to fathom. She holds a different belief system than I do. She seems to want to be on the attack when it comes to Russia. She sees it from her backyard. No journalist wants to put her to task on that statement. The Russian Far East has never been a concern of mine. Many Russians who migrated east are Russia's "frontiersmen." They move there to get away from the urban blight of the west. And I am pretty sure they want peace with their neighbors from the American state of Alaska. Why don't she travel there? Cross the Bering Strait, visit Vladovostok, and take the Trans-Siberian railway. She's governor of an American state, but never held a passport? Arkansas Lt. Governor Bill Halter is visiting China and he's there to promote goods made in Arkansas. University of Central Arkansas has a sister school in China, the East China Normal University. Arkansas has close ties now to the Far East. I am also sure Gov. Beebe holds a passport. No doubt Halter does. I guess when in Alaska, don't drink the water.
Palin had parishioners in the Wasilla Assembly of God Church lay hands on her, giving assurance that the spirit of witchcraft don't touch her known as "Mama Jane." I prostrate and pray. I don't really want people laying their hands on me. When that happens, I end up depending on them to protect me and not God, or I start to add partners with God. Idolatry can result from this.
So, this is why supporting the Democrats, despite their imperfections or what I may disagree with them on certain issues, because what we had in the last eight years should not continue.

In Response to John McCain

He says that he will suspend his campaign, not show up at the debate in Oxford, MS, so he can see if he can help bail out these greedy Wall Street speculators. I know this. He is not suspending his campaign. It's a gimmick. And, yes, the old fart will be there at the debate on Friday. Who is he fooling? He must think the American people are stupid. Either he thinks we are, or he thinks very little of Sen. Obama and believes that he is. And what an excellent photo shot of Gov. Sarah Palin sitting across from Henry Kissinger, the man who is responsible for prolonging the Vietnam War.
This says it all.

Let's Play Bailout

Let's Bailout these Wall Street speculators who got us into this mess in the first place!

belief in unseen.

We don't see God, but we believe in Him.

Surah 100: Al-Aadiyaat (Those that run)

Response to the events that occured this week.

Back Home

I spent a week staying in Hardy and visiting the southern Missouri/Northeast Arkansas area of the country. I've bought an old AM radio, a Zenith radio, that must be over 40 years old, but works great. The reception could never be so clearer and the range goes from 550 kilohertz to arounf 1650 kilohertz. I visited an antique mall and got it for $25. Basically that has been the highlight of the trip and I was only gone from home for only three days. I've got plenty of rest. I went swimming once, but found that the water was too cold even in the warmest part of the day. The temperature was below 50 degrees Fahreinheit at night and got as high as near 80 during the day. I visited Mammoth Spring, AR, Thayer, MO, West Plains, MO, Hoxie-Walnut Ridge, AR, Williams Baptist College, and downtown Hardy. I get around more on vacation than I would when I don't have any vacation time. I have weekends, but I don't get around like I should. So, this was a break from the rut and routine. I go back to work Monday. I go back to an atmosphere of uneasiness after having time away. Please, pray for me.

Alhmdulillah Rahbiealamin.

New links

I have found some new links to my list of blogs. Including the one I've found called "Virtually Islamic," I want to try to find similar blogs like that with names like "Virtually Christian," "Virtually Jewish," and maybe "Virtually Hindu." I don't want this blog to be just about politics, especially liberal politics, and about Islam. I want to diversify it a little more with music and music videos. I added a few of those videos last night, but without success, I couldn't upload from YouTube the Hall & Oates videos. I keep getting an error from the YouTube site. So, I may try other sites to upload these fantastic videos. Who needs a show on RTN-TV like "Retro Jams" when we can watch old music videos from video sites? I have noticed that for the last two Sundays, RTN has not shown the TV music video show. It would feature by request videos by Men Without Hats, Cindi Lauper, Def Leppard, Led Zepplin, Bad Company, Bananarama, and others. But, in 2008, people get bored watching these senseless music videos, and also why watch them on TV when you have the internet? Anyway, I do believe it's time to take this blog to a new direction.

Bush's Motorcade Passes Up Parents of Dead Soldiers for McCain Fundraiser

Cool! Go get 'em!

Several bombs rock India's capital - 13 Sept 2008

What a barbaric act!

The Beard

No explanation. Let Yusuf Estes explain it.

John McCain's ads are Lies. Here's the video proof.

It seems to me that the McCain campaign acts more like a 527 all the time swiftboating his opponent.

Here We Go Again

A terrible hurricane hits the Gulf Coast and gas prices soar with service stations spiking the prices up as we go get some petrol, while the price of crude goes down. Family members trying
to tell me who I should vote for because they don't like the guy I am supporting. I've got news for them. I can't stand the guy they are wanting to vote for and nothing, nothing will change my mind, so the heck with them! Yeah, let's vote for more war, more layoffs, more home foreclosures, more bankruptcies. The time we live is awesome. Let's make some more of it by supporting the GOP. Yeah, right!! Grrrrr! I still have a job at the company I worked for, but at the same time, the company is laying off 700 more people this coming November closing down second shift. They are laying off people who have worked there since 1998. Wow, the times could never be any more prosperous. This is the mark of the Bush legacy and the American people can't get enough of it. I can't depend on polls and the debates have not taken place yet, but it is numbnuts of our voting population who are going to mess it up for the rest of us this time again. If members of the family want to buy into this, they can go ahead. I won't stop them. But, they best better not tell me who I should vote for. They can take that crap to Hades, if you know what I mean.
Ah, the Clinton years. I am nostalgic for them again. Low gas prices, low unemployment, low inflation, job security, working lots of overtime with pay. Those days are gone and the shitheads run the show now. And I want to vote them out. But, here we go again. Same stupid politics, abortion, gay marriage. So what? The issues are the economy, the war, national security, health care, maintaining Social Security, jobs going overseas. The GOP can't address them now, so they browbeat as they campaign. Lipstick on a Pig? John McCain has used that expression time and time again. They hate it when Obama used it the other day referring to the empty McCain plan, not their darling Sarah Palin! The Democrats are bringing up the issues while the GOP browbeats.
Excuse me, I live in the Stupid Belt, where certain people don't care about other people when they fall on hard times. In fact, they laugh at them, asking them, "Are you gonna go to Mexico?"
Or maybe "Are you gonna go to China?" I guess the reply can be, "yes, so I can finally leave this hedonistic society where you church-goers dwell."

9/11

On 9/11/01, I worked the graveyard shift and I came home to relax before going to bed to sleep during the day after I worked all night. The last thing I did before going to bed was look at some music CDs I have in my collection. I had a couple of Galician music CDs I was looking at and that I was listening to. I did not find out about the incident until I woke up from bed in the after noon and turned on talk radio and then turned on the TV. I couldn't believe what happened. I couldn't believe how it could happen. Airport security was asleep that day apparently just like I was from working all night. I was outraged that this happened. Why didn't the federal government know about this attempt before this was going to take place. Two buildings were blown up in NYC, the Pentagon in DC was attacked, and there was another attempt by hijackers on another plane aimed at DC again, but was stopped by passengers and as a result, the hijackers and the passengers all died in a plane crash in Pennsylvania. At home, people were panicking over gasoline. Service stations were spiking the price, gauging it, I should say. Prices were anywhere from $1.47 gallon to $10 a gallon. So, people were hovering at Murphy's at Wal-Mart to get $1.47 a gallon gas. I had some gas that day, but I can't imagine that there are sellers who will manipulate and try to take advantage of a bad situation, ripping people off, and profit from it. Similar situations have now occured since 9/11, but it's very subtle and not near as obvious.
Ark. Attorney General Mark Pryor, during the time, caught what these retailers were doing and that they were gauging the price of petrol. So, after that day, the retailers brought the price back to where it was during that time and I believe it was around $1.45 a gallon. I wish I can pay that again. I am now paying $3.49 a gallon. High, but better than in California. So, that what I did on 9/11. I was at home resting from working overnight. Back then, I thought George Bush was going to do what he said he would do. Catch Bin Laden. Troops go into Afghanistan to defeat the Taliban and they did, but Bush breaks his promise to catch Bin Laden and from that time on, I grew very critical of the Bush-Cheney administration and the GOP. He said he would catch Bin Laden and several months later in 2002, Bush said he had no interest in catching Bin Laden. Whatever confidence I had in him was lost forever since!

The Election Issue Not Talk About At Home

I hear very little or nothing about the Presidential Election here at home, especially at work. There's nothing said about Obama, Biden, McCain, or Palin. There are people who are put up about politics and government corruption. Rather than talking about that, the subject is football.
It's football season again with all the highlights. High School Football, College, or the NFL. I am
not excited about the Razorbacks. They have a young team this year and they play the Longhorns at Austin this weekend. I believe they are going to get stomped. They won 2 games so far, but just barely, winning only by one point over Louisiana-Monroe. It is not very promising year in football. I may skip football this season. It seems to be the way it looks. Later.

Alan's blog

If you want to know what the right-wingers are about and how they never agree to disagree, go to Alan.com and read the vicious attacks Alan Colmes receives on a daily basis. They think they are holier than thou, meaning you and me and they continue to call Alan all kinds of names and attack his character while at the same lacking any character whatsoever. If any of them go to church, and saved by grace through Jesus Christ, they totally ruin their testimony about their salvation with the words they use and attacks other respondents who are big fans of Mr. Colmes.
If you are a sensitive person, don't go to this site. It may be ruin your walk with God. I thought I should write this.

Anyway, I went to buy a DVD book. I have too many DVDs of movies and documentaries stored in these packages that need to be thrown away. They take up too much space, so I buy this book from Best Buy and took the DVDs and stored them in this book. It made a difference. I was able to make more space for other items and I placed the book where the TV is in a cabinet. These packages these DVDs you buy that come with it are not worth keeping. If a buy a DVD now, I throw away the package and keep the DVD.

Barack Obama Goes To The Fox Den | John McCain Doesn't Like CNN's Peaches!

Though I didn't see the interview, here is a YouTuber who is sharing his views on FOX, Obama, and McCain. Working the swing shift keeps me from watching Hot Temper O'Reilly.

I have one thing to say..

The GOP ticket makes fun of community organizing. How cynical!
Community organizing is what gave the 40-hour work week, the
abolition of child labor, the civil rights movement and the change
that took place, women's rights, the peace movement; it's how people
get involved in their communities when arrogant politicians are out
of touch with the people they serve. The Palin speech is a caveat for
many of us who care about life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Former POW says McCain is

I know the RNC is going on right now and I don't mean to make this blog into the War Room, but John McCain's known temperment is a concern to me.

I'm a little tired of politics today. So, I will write something later when I feel up to it again.

Surah 77: Al-Mursalat (Those Sent Forth)

Republicans are known to pick bad VP picks

The Republicans are known to pick bad VP picks and somehow, manage to win the election.
George H.W. Bush did it with Dan "you're no Jack Kennedy" Quayle, an unknown senator from Indiana. Richard Nixon did it with Spiro "Not pronounced Sprayro like that little town not far from where I live in Oklahoma" Agnew. This is a caveat for the Obama-Biden team. We known nothing about Sarah Palin except that every Republican hot shot is kissing her ass convincing us floor people working hard for less and less that she is an asset for this country. It appears that John McCain wants to continue the failed Bush legacy by putting people with little or no experience in the executive branch of government. We have witness what happened in southern Louisiana when Brown was head of FEMA. We cannot afford for something like this to happen again. Except for what Sarah Palin might have done to stop the bridge to nowhere project headed by Sen. Ted "the Internet is a series of tubes" Stevens, we don't know much about her, except she is involved in a scandal in Alaska over something that has to do with nepotism. She is not suited for the job. She can play the role as president when McCain goes overseas. She can become president if McCain dies in office. She will be that person who can make that crucial vote in the Senate to pass a bill or kill it.

The Obama-Biden team has now more experience. The experience factor has now been blow out the window by the McCain campaign. He can no longer say "Obama is not ready." I say Sarah Palin is not ready. She is governor of a big state with a very small remote population. Half of Alaska's residents live in the Anchorage area. But, she was mayor of a small town much smaller than Greenwood. McCain picks her to satisfy the religious right-wing base over nit-pick issues the GOP really doesn't care to address. Just take advantage of that base, feed them with a little bacon, and this will make them happy.

It is not worth the risk.

Many things

I think Obama's acceptance speech hit the ball out of the ball park last night. My mind was already made up on who I am supporting before this speech and after I heard it, this sealed it for me. He promises to turn things around from the path Bush/Cheney has led us and bring back what made America great and where the rest of the world can respect this country again.

McCain's pick for VP, Sarah Palin, is a terrible choice. I knew nothing about her until I turned on the TV this morning to hear that Sen. McCain picked a running mate. This governor from Alaska appears to be the anti-Hillary Clinton. John McCain cannot be serious to believe that supporters of Hillary Clinton will vote for him now because of his pick. Palin was a mayor of a small town and only has been governor for 18 months. This is what she seems to be all about. "She's pro-God, pro-life, pro-gun, pro-guts." I imagine McCain is trying his best to capture the redneck vote, his main base along with evangelicals standing along side with the rednecks. Folks who have worked hard and supported Hillary Clinton will not vote for McCain just because he picks a woman on the ticket who has no foreign policy experience and no federal government experience. There are women in the GOP who are much more qualified. Why didn't he pick Condolezza Rice, Christina Todd Whitman, Kay Bailey Hutchison, or Elizabeth Dole? Each of these are very qualified to be VP. I believe McCain blew it.

Barack Obama and Joe Biden should run their campaign like they are running behind. This is the way Mike Beebe ran his campaign to win the Arkansas gubernatorial race back in 2006. He ran like he was running behind and his staff worked very hard to beat a former Homeland Security undersecretary from getting that seat of public office. McCain picking this woman will not be a cake walk for Democrats. The McCain campaign is using this to place guilt on Obama for not picking Hillary Clinton. The Obama-Biden campaign needs to prove to the voters that picking someone who is a woman who is nothing like Hillary Clinton just won't do.

John Brummett Sucks

John Brummett is an editorial writer for the Arkansas Times whose articles appear regularly on the Times Record, my local newspaper. He usually represent the "liberal", if you can call it that, Democratic view in Arkansas. Today, he disparages Barack Obama and quotes old quotes about what Joe Biden said about Barack Obama back in the Democratic Party debates. "He's not ready." And this beauty, "He is a clean, black man." He is one of those sore losers nagging about Hillary Clinton not winning the nomination and still is doing so even as Clinton stopped the roll call to help nominate Barack Obama as the Party nominee by a vote of ayes throughout the convention. What is John doing? Does he want McCain to win or does he not believe the Obama-Biden team can pull this off? Does he deep down in his heart not want a black man to become president of the United States? Does he feel in his mind that Hillary Clinton is just far better than Obama that he wishes he could be there on stage to tell Obama to step aside for the New York Senator for the DN? Mr. Brummett has played himself into the Karl Rove play book and is mimicking what GOP strategists like Mike Murphy are trying to do, divide and conquer. Play down Obama, make people believe that there is sharp division between the Clintons and the Obamas. Then, influence people to vote for McCain because according to the GOP shysters, "that's what the Clintons are going to do when they go to the polls." John Brummett is a kick them when they're up, kick them they're down type of columnist. He kicks Obama when he's up because he doesn't like his funny sounding name. He kicks Lu Hardin, the president of the University of Central Arkansas, when he's down even after Lu acknowledges he made a mistake wanting a $3oo,ooo bonus from the school and continues to kick him when he has to have surgery for one of his eyes. He is a sick man and worse excuse for a writer passing himself off as a liberal. No wonder so many Arkansans hate liberals so much.

Last night

MSNBC aired Hillary Clinton's speech late last night. I thought it was a great speech.
It was a speech directed at those hard-core Clinton supporters telling them now she
supports Barack Obama. These guys and gals have no other choice. She says to them
"no way, no how, no McCain." Are they doing it for her, or are they doing it for the middle
class, the mother with cancer lacking health care raising her children, the family trying to
make ends meet living off of minimum wage, etc. I hope the hard-cores realize that if
turn away and support McCain, they will get Bush on steroids. Instead of acting like
Clinton cult followers, I hope they cast their vote for Obama and help turn this thing around
this November. In response, I do agree. If McCain wins, America might not live to see its
236th birthday. We cannot afford another 4 years of runaway Reaganomics and crazy
wars. Maybe Hillary don't love Obama as some pundit clown on MSNBC was asking.
She don't have to love the man, but like many voters feel when they have to make the choice,
Obama is definitely the less of the two evils.

Another thing I have noticed on daytime television. A "religious" network called DayStar was
re-airing the so-called "debate" from the Saddleback "Church?" this morning. It seems to me
this worse excuse of a religious network is doing their worst to smear Obama as much as they can and it is clear to me who they are trying to push to its viewers, to get the evangelicals all riled up like a bunch of rednecks to cast their vote for John McCain over issues that are not as important.
The Obama does need to visit the southern states more. Barack Obama does need to win 2 or 3 of them to give him a better chance to win the general election.

McCain goes low

The McCain ads are despicable. They come from the Karl Rove play book. The gal who is a turncoat who is now supporting John McCain because Hillary Clinton did not get the nod or
wasn't vetted to be the VP nominee. The spin job ad showing us Joe Biden saying Barack Obama is not ready at a Democratic debate. The Obama campaign could choose to go low on McCain. There is clip where John McCain was asked by a woman this question, "How are we going to defeat that bitch?" This is reference to Hillary Clinton. And John McCain answering her question without thinking not to do so. An ad that can be aimed at former Clinton supporters not to join the McCain camp. I have not seen them come up with that ad, which if they did, it would put the Obama campaign on the defensive. The DNC will be interesting. Unfortunately, I work the swing shift. So, I will miss the live coverage. I may record part of it. I want to watch the night when Sen. Obama accept the party's nomination and makes his speech.

Obama pick Biden as VP

It's O and Joe! As this has happened, I began to understand why Sen. Obama picked Sen. Biden.
Obama is down in percentage numbers when it comes to who could be the most effective commander-in-chief. It scares me to think that the majority of the American people believes Sen. McCain would be better at it than Barack Obama. John McCain is the man who thinks that the Beach Boys sang this bad parody played back in 1979 called "Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb, Bomb Iran." Some jokers who can mimic the Beach Boys' sound did this terrible song. The Beach Boys sung "Barbara Ann." Sen. McCain makes the hairs of Sen. Cochran's neck stand up when it comes to John McCain having a bad temper. The world right now does not need John McCain and I hope the American voters cast Barack Obama into the White House. As a voter, I am willing to take the chance on electing Barack. I don't agree with him on his stance on abortion, but when it comes to this shaky economy we are experiencing not only here, but around many parts of the world, Sen. Obama is the one I trust more. I can guarantee you this to those on the far right, Roe v. Wade will never be overturned under Obama or under McCain. It won't happen in my lifetime here on earth, or my nieces and nephew's lifetimes, or my grand-nephew's lifetime. I haven't wrote much about politics in this blog. It has been mainly on Islam and religion in general. But, there is always the first time. This blog is about "all kinds of stuff" after all. My website name is in Spanish. That is because someone else took the name "all kinds of stuff" as the website name. I could not use it. So, I name it in Spanish.

Hot day

Today was the hottest day of the year as far as the temperature goes.
There were some shirts I needed to give away. I was not wearing these shirts
anymore and all these shirts were doing were hanging in my bedroom closet collecting dust.
I got rid of 14 different shirts. Eleven of them were dress shirts and three of them were
designer T-shirts. I have sent them to a Goodwill thrift store. Some guys will want these shirts.
Gas prices are up. Food prices are also up. This can put a damper in someone's budget
when it comes to buying clothes and other necessities. This is something I do every now and then. If there are some clothes I am no longer wearing, it is time for me to donate them.

Today would have been..

my mother's birthday. She passed away many years ago. It is sad, but at the same time, it is good to remember what Aug. 3 would have been. She would have 81 today if she were alive today. It is hot and sunny outside today. The temperature outside has reached 103 degrees Fahreinheit. Tomorrow may get hotter with no end in sight.

I plan to return to choir rehearsal today after a whole month of not having them. It will be nice to return to them. I began to miss them.

By the way....

There is not a single word of censure against music in the Qu'ran. Why somebody like, say, for example, Bilal Philips, believes that most if not all music is haram, I don't know? This is what I will come to believe what I thought was the teachings of Islam.

Also, by the way, music is encouraged in the Bible as I quoted two verses from Psalms in the last post.

Ibn Khaldun was a great Muslim philosopher and sociologist from the 14th century, about 700 years after the time of Muhammad. Among all professions he listed, he categorized music and writing as the highest ranking crafts in society. He believed that if music disappears from a society, there goes civilization itself. He said and I quote, "The craft of singing is the last of the crafts attained to in civilization..It is also the first to disappear from a given civilization when it disintegrates and retrogresses." But Jamaican-born Canadian Bilal Philips and the dude from Texas, Yusuf Estes both don't see it that way. They don't approve of clapping in applause. I believe they were taught by the Wahhabis that almost anything and everything is haram.
God, grants the students of theirs wisdom to show them that music is a good thing. I definitely do and have thought so for most of my life. The nasheed is music with singing and percussion. These clowns, Philips and Estes, are brainwashed by the radical teachings of the Wahhabis coming from Saudi Arabia, a country Americans pay high gas prices to and frankly, every American is totally fed up with life-strickening, money-making, snake-in-the-grass, "lets go bomb the West," cowards.

More on Music

"Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands." Psalm 100:1

"Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob." Psalm 81:1

"Narrated by Aisha: 'Allah's Apostle (pbuh) came to my house while two girls were singing beside me the songs of Buath (a story about the war between two tribes of the Ansar, the Khazraj and the Aus before Islam). The Prophet (pbuh) lay down and turn his face on the other side. Then Abu Bakr came and spoke to me harshly saying, 'Musical instruments of Satan near the Prophet (pbuh)?' Allah's Apostle (pbuh) turned his face towards him and said, 'Leave them.' When Abu Bakr became inattentive, I signalled those girls to go out and they left. It was the day of 'Id, and the Black people were playing with shields and spears; so either I requested the Prophet (pbuh) or he asked me whether I like to see the display. I replied the affirmative. Then the Prophet (pbuh) made me stand behind him and my cheek was touching his cheek and he was saying, 'Carry on, O Bani Arfida,' till I got tired. The Prophet (pbuh) asked me, 'Are you satisfied (is the sufficient for you)?' I replied the affirmative and told me to leave."

I believe there is music that is good; music that is pleasing to us and also pleasing to God. But, most music today is haram or bad and apparently the Ansar girls during the time of Muhammad was not very pleasing to him. It puts somebody else ahead of God, taking God away from His rightful place.

I listen to many kinds of music; jazz, reggae, rock, gospel, etc. But, music can work to divide yourself from friends and loved ones. But, also at the same time, it unites people together over like-minded interests good or bad. I don't believe music is totally haram, but some of it I have heard in the past definitely is. I choose not to play the radio or music when there is mixed company. It can become a distraction. But, this is just me. And this is my take on it.

Music

Is all music bad? I haven't got an answer to that, but in my next post, I plan to write something about this. In a spiritual sense, it is believed that the Shaitan or Satan who was booted out of heaven and fell to earth is a trained musician and music today is a major influence in the world.
Music is used by the Shaitan to set people apart and to separate them over differences. One person's taste in music is another person finding it as crap. More on this later.

Anger, Frustration

Anger and frustration are a part of life. How do you control it? How do you face that moment
when it hits you? Is it a bad to be mad at something or vent your frustration? How do you deal with it? Do you live in an environment that somehow triggers this? It seems we live in a hectic, fast-paced world, instant gratification type of society. We don't like to wait. Let's find some quotes on anger.

Narrated by Abu Musa: "The Prophet was asked about things which he did not like, but when questionners insisted, the Prophet got angry. He then said to the people, 'Ask me anything you like.' A man asked, Who is my father? The Prophet replied, 'Your father is Hudhafa.' Then another man got up and said, 'Who is my father, o Allah's Apostle?' He replied, 'Your father is Salim, Maula (the freed slave) of Shaiba." So when Umar saw that (the anger) on the face of the Prophet he said, 'O Allah's Apostle, We repent to Allah (Our offending you). Shahi bukhari

The Prophet Muhammad (SAW) got angry and so did Christ Jesus (SAW) when he threw the table of the moneychangers.

How do you control it? If someone has been angry at multiple times, a doctor or a counselor tells him that he needs to go an "Anger Management" class. If he has been angry many times before, he must have felt frustration. He gets all the bad luck. I wonder if there are any quotes on frustration.

No, many hadiths don't seem to have anything on that subject.

Let's go back to anger.

"O Allah, I seek refuge in Thy pleasure from Thine anger. And I seek refuge in Thy granting well being from Thy punishment. And I seek refuge in Thou from Thou. I cannot reckon Thy praise: Thou art as Thou hath praise Thine self." Witr prayer, Fiqh-us-Sunnah.

A prayer the Prophet (pbnh) has made to Allah. It is definitely written that Allah (SWT) got angry. Though, the outside world, the developed world especially, does not tolerate an angry person. But, what can they do when they are faced with an angry, omnipotent, all present God?
They cannot detain Him. Is it a sin to be angry or to be frustrated? A Hadith in Bukhari says that
"Muawiya got angry when he heard that there will be a king from the tribe Qahtan." What did he do? He "got up and praised Allah." If a person is angry, he can shape the anger to a more positive way in dealing with it.

There are so many hadiths on anger. I hope I've got the gender right referring to Muawiya. It sounds feminine, but I wasn't sure. So I used the pronoun "he."

So, if you get angry. Turn it around and praise God.

Things to do

Buy my father a walking cane.

Eat lunch.

Go back to work.

I have always taken care of the things I did do over the weekend.

I don't have nothing else to add right now.
