Everything's Super

Everything is Super for now. There's Super Bowl Sunday. There's Super Tuesday for many states staging their presidential primaries. It's a big Super weekend coming up this weekend. There is very little peace behind this Super craze. It's the Patriots vs. the Giants. Then, there is real hate in the presidential campaign. For the Democrats, Hillary attacks Obama and Obama attacks Hillary. They can't stand each other. For the Republicans, McCain attacks Romney and Romney attacks McCain. They also can't stand each others. I plan to vote this Tuesday and I believe I am going to vote for the black guy. I believe I have had enough of "the man" running the show with its Iraqi occupation running the government deeper and deeper in debt, jobs going overseas with all of the government incentives to go overseas, folks without health insurance with those folks who have but with insurance that never covers anything, the rich getting richer, the poor getting poorer... I think it's about time for somebody else to have a shot at what needs to be done get America back.

Quotes from the Book of Enoch

"All who are in the heavens know the work.
"They know that the heavenly luminaries change not their paths; that each rises and sets regularly, every one at its proper period, without transgressing the commands which they have received. They behold the earth, and understand what is there transacted, from the beginning to the end of it.
"They see that every work of God is invariable in the period of its appearance. They behold summer and winter; perceiving that the whole earth is full of water; and that the cloud, the dew, and the rain refresh it.
"They consider and behold every tree, how it appears to wither, and every leaf to fall off, except of fourteen trees, which are not deciduous; which wait from the old, to the appearance of the new leaf, for two or three winters.
"Again they consider the days of summer that the sun is upon it at its very beginning; while you seek for a covered and shady spot on account of the burning sun; while the earth is scorched up with fervid heat, and you become incapable of walking either upon the ground or upon the rocks in consequence of that heat.
"They consider how the trees, when they put forth their green leaves, become covered, and produce fruit; understanding every thing, and knowing that He lives for ever does all these things for you.
"That the works at the beginning of every existing year, that all his works, are subservient to him, and yet as invariable; yet as God has appointed, so are all things brought to pass.
"They see, too, how the seas and the rivers together complete their respective operations:
"But you endure not patiently, nor fulfill the commandments of the Lord; but you transgress and caluminate his greatness; and malignant are the words in your polluted mouths against his Majesty.
"Ye withered in heart, no peace shall be to you!
"Therefore your days shall you curse, and the years of your lives shall perish; perpetual execration shall be multiplied, you shall not obtain mercy.
"In those days shall you reign your peace with the eternal maledictions of all the righteous, and sinners shall perpetually execrate you;
"Shall execrate you with the ungodly.
"The elect shall possess light, joy, and peace; and they shall inherit the earth.
"But you, ye unholy, shall be accursed.
"Then shall wisdom be given to the elect, all of whom shall live, and not again transgress by impiety or pride; but shall humble themselves, possessing prudence, and shall not repeat transgression.
"They shall not be condemned the whole period of their lives, nor die in torment and indignation; but the sum of the days of their life shall be completed, and they shall grow old in peace; while the years of their happiness shall be multiplied with joy, and the peace for ever, the whole duration of their existence."

Comment on Previous Video

The Jewish Yemeni can never be more right about the name of God. Elohim, Eloh, and Elah are Hebrew and Aramaic variations of the Arabic word, Allah for God. The word Allah is used in the Arabic Christian Bible. There is no way one can refute this as hard as anyone can try. The only criticism I have about this gentleman was his harshness toward some evangelical Christians who try to refute it with stuff that was taught to them by preachers without bothering to do some research. He mocks them, makes fun of their intellects, and calls them "idolaters." No, they are not idolaters. Some evangelical Christians understand that Allah is God Almighty. All they have to do is look at a Gideon Holy Bible and turn to the page that shows then the various translations of John 3:16 into many different languages. In the Arabic translation, I discover God is Allah. In Spanish, it's Dios. In Portuguese, it's Deus. And so on. I understand the gentleman was knocking those who think Allah is a "moon god." But, he was putting all evangelicals in a box who believes this and also those who sound and talk "Southern." That's not fair to those evangelicals who know the truth to be put in that box. Allah is God Almighty. I have known this for nearly all of the time I spent here on earth. Certain Christian leaders on shortwave radio and in some American pulpits tried to convince them or have convinced them Allah is false and that's because of this so-called "war on terror." They have led people astray when their congregation chose to accept this "teaching." It's unfortunate. To the Yemeni gentleman, I sorry you had to deal with those uneducated people, but there are some of us here in America who know that God is the same god in all three faiths, Judaism, Islam, and Christianity. Alhumdulillah Rabbiealamin.

The Pearls of Muhammad (pbuh), Advice to Those Who Have Not

Narrated by Abu Huraira: Some poor people came to the Prophet (pbuh) and said, "The wealthy people will get higher grades and will have permanent enjoyment and they pray like us and fast as we do. They have more money by which they perform the Hajj, and 'Umra; fight and struggle in Allah's cause and give in charity."

The prophet (pbuh) said, "Shall I not tell you a thing upon which if you acted you would catch up with those who have surpassed you? Nobody would overtake you and you would be better than the people amongst whom you live except those who would do the same. Say 'Sub-han-al-lah,' 'Alhamdu-lillah,' and 'Allahu Akbar' thirty-three times each after every (compulsory) prayer."

We differed and some of us said that we should say, 'Subhan-al-lah' thirty-three times and 'Alhamdu lillah' thirty-three times and 'Allahu Akbar' thirty-four times. I went to the prophet who said, "Say 'Sub-han-al-lah' and 'Alhamdu-lillah' and Allahu Akbar' all together for thirty-three times.

Gambling and strong drink, sayings by the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)

Narrated by Abu Hurayrah: The Prophet (pbuh) said:
"If one enters a horse with two others when he is not certain that it cannot be beaten, it is not gambling; but when one enters a horse with two others when he is certain it cannot be beaten, it is gambling." Book 8. Jihad. Hadith 2573 (Abu Dawud)

Narrated by Umar ibn al-Khattab: When the prohibition of wine (was yet to be) declared, Umar said: O Allah, give us a satisfactory explanation about wine. So the following verse of Surat al-Baqarah (the Cow) revealed, "They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say: in them is great sin..." Umar then called and it was recited to him.
He said: O Allah, give us a satisfactory explanation about wine. Then the following verse of Surat an-Nisa (Women) was revealed, "O ye who believe! Approach not prayers with a mind befogged." Thereafter the herald of the Apostle of Allah (pbuh) would call when the congregational prayer was performed: Beware, one who is drunk should not come to prayer. Umar was again called and it was recited to him.
He said: O Allah, give us a satisfactory explanation about wine. This verse was revealed: "Will ye not then abstain?" Umar said: We abstained. Book 20. Drinks. Hadith 3662 (Abu Dawud)

Ibn Abbas said: The Quranic Verse: "O ye who believe, approach not prayers with a mind befogged until you can understand all that ye say," and the verse: "They ask thee concerning wine and gambling. Say: In them some profit for men," were revealed by the verse in Surat al-Ma'idah: O who believe, intoxicants and gambling, (dedication of) stones...

A view on Jihad

Assalaam Alaykum wa Rasalulah wa Barakatu. Alhumdulillah Rabbiealamin

I have a view on this, because recently I have been experiencing this. I have been in jihad, al jihad fi sabil Allah - the struggle in the way of God. The forces of good are battling the forces of evil within myself. I have been experiencing temptation and I have been fighting it. There are things out there around me that are not good and I find myself resisting it. This is what jihad is to me. It's a struggle to fight evil to maintain the good within myself, a fight to improve myself, and a fight for the way of God. I see changes coming where I live. Hopefully, this time, it will be for good. But, whatever changes I have experienced in the society around me had been for the worse and there is a jihad leading the way. I pray for my country and the society around me. I wish for this crazy, pop culture regardless of what it is and whatever craze people want to follow would one day soon go away. This is my jihad. But, understand, I am not taking up weapons or a sword. It is what many Christians would as "Spiritual Warfare." To me, that is what jihad is. The Sufis consider a warrior to be a great, noble, and honorable if he/she is one who is struggling within himself/herself for the way of God and to improve himself/herself. And in order to attempt to try to improve society, you must improve yourself. May the Mighty God give you peace, for that will as a result, bring peace within yourself.

"The life of this is but play and amusement: and if ye believe and guard against evil, He will grant you your recompense, and will not ask you (to give up) your possessions. If He were to ask you for all of them, and press you, ye would covetously withhold, and He would bring out all your ill-feeling. Behold, ye are those invited to spend (of your substance) in the Way of Allah. But among you are some that are niggardly. But any who are niggardly are so at the expense of their own souls. But Allah is free of all wants, and it is ye who are needy. If ye turn back (from the Path), He will substitute in your stead another people; then they would not be like you!" - Sura 47, Muhammad, 36-38.

It has been cold...

It has been cold, but today the weather is getting warmer and it is becoming nice and sunny. I have been keeping up with the elections, especially in Iowa. It is nice to see that someone finally beat Her Highness Hillary Clinton and that the voters came out for Obama and Edwards. If Obama wins New Hampshire, the man is pretty much on his way to winning the Democratic nomination.

As for the Republicans, I think they are done for. The Iowans elected Huckabee. I can think of more of a sorrier choice to lead that party, unless it is Romney or Paul. I don't believe Huckabee will win New Hampshire. That may go to Romney, since Massachusetts is close by. John McCain may have a chance in NH. We will see next Tuesday.

Hillary Clinton could go down like Howard Dean four years ago if she don't win New Hampshire. But I believe people have had enough of the same old status quo and they want change and this war in Iraq to end. This is the hope I have in the new year.
