Bismillah Arrahman Arraheem

I have many things on my mind. I'm excited about what will happen Tuesday. It will be good to see Bush leave the White House. It will be exciting to see Obama and his family move in and I believe he will do as he promised he will do. Like what the American media points out and points it out very often, Obama has a lot on his plate to tackle once he get in. We have two wars, which were very unnecessary, a troubled economy, a rising deficit, trouble in Gaza, etc. This first thing I believe he will tackle is the economy. Personally, I think things will turn around in the economy because I am already tired of hearing the critics go on about it and unfortunately, they will go on about it because they did not vote for Obama and of course, they will not put the blame on Bush.
January 20 will be the new New Year's Day here in the U.S. when Barack Obama is sworn in as President. I don't care what these Ozark hillbillies think. I'm happy Bush is leaving and what he left behind, Obama and his crew will have to take years to patch it back together. If you watch Press TV, you would get the impression that America has lost its status as the beacon of hope and that it is up to the rest of the world, including Iran, to solve all of the problems there are around the world regardless if the U.S. is in it or not. Religious conservatives make an issue over whether George Washington or Thomas Jefferson were born-again Christians or Deists. But, the issue becomes useless for debate when everyone knows both of these Founding Fathers owned slaves. America, a free country for some, but not for all. Thomas Jefferson writes that 'all men are created equal.' Apparently, he meant white men; rich, white men. Because, he has held racist, evolutionary views about non-white peoples. Blacks were excluded and Indians could be 'domesticated' little brown white people. Was Thomas Jefferson a Christian in a sense Christians would believe? He wrote his own bible which today is called "The Jeffersonian Bible," a book of the Four Gospels that excludes verses indicating the Divinity of Christ. He was a unitarian.
I have visited both the George Washington home at Mt. Vernon, Virginia and the Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson, near Charlottesville, Virginia. Both of these places were big, "mac daddy," slave plantations. When guides are asked about these Founding Fathers and slaves, they rationalize away from really answering saying they were good to their slaves and it becomes a song and dance, trying their best not to demonize these great leaders.

Barack Obama looks up to Abraham Lincoln and some will say he does look up to Franklin Delano Roosevelt. It is amazing there are people today who don't much care for Abe or FDR. Some wish "the South" would have won and that's the reason they don't like Abe. And others wish America just sided with the Germans and that is one of the reasons why they don't like FDR. Prescott Bush, George W.'s grandpa, was involved during the 30's in a corporate plot to takeover the U.S. government from FDR and make this country into a Nazi puppet. The excuse some make for why they didn't like FDR was because FDR destroyed the free market and small businessmen lost everything under FDR. I believe that happened during the great depression under Hoover. If FDR was hated so much, why was he elected president and re-elected again, again, and again?
They are the same people who argue that he got us into WWII, provoking the Japanese to invade. Check out the John Birch "New American." Articles are written about this which I find are conspiracy-driven. I won't go into why they hate Obama. The internet is filled with this misinformation on reasons why don't like Obama, just like they don't like Abe or FDR.

The Preamble of the U.S. Constitution and I am quoting by memory.

"We The People of the United States in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, Provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

I stand by it and for those say they do, do they really?
