A New Channel

A new TV channel is coming to the U.S. and it is the "Guide Us" channel, a TV channel for Islam, similar to the one in the UK known as the Islam Channel. I believe Yusuf Estes heads this project for the "Guide Us" channel. You may find information on this from his site, Islam Tomorrow .
The web site for Guide Us, I believe is guideus.com . He is hoping that this station will get on cable and satellite systems across the U.S. but I am afraid he shouldn't hold his breath. Yusuf Estes, I am sure, is aware of this fact. The media, especially Fox News has done a tremendous job villifying Islam and the people who practice Islam, linking everybody who practice Islam regardless of sect, is somehow linked to terrorism, suicide bombings, and Osama bin Laden. They have done an excellent job scaring the American people and even convinced many voters, especially from the southern and western states that Barack Obama must be or is a Muslim terrorist. The man is getting ready to become our next president and still, there are some gullible people who still believes he is a Muslim even if they are now convinced he is not a terrorist. The Guide Us network will have a long way to go to get into these systems. If I still don't get them on the cable, I hope it is available on the internet, because on the internet, I can get the Islam Channel, Press TV, Peace TV, Huda TV, al-Jazeera, and many others.
