This needs to be said. Some born-again Christians and maybe some Muslims are really social Darwinists in disguise, especially if they are teaching at school. They sound like a bunch of crappy sociologists. We know how it is America. The standard we should all live up to is to be like some white, upper-middle class Yankee from Pennsylvania and we are supposed to talk like him, too. They believe whites are more superior than blacks and/or Latinos. They believe that western Arkansas is much more superior to eastern and central Arkansas. Whatever it is, they got some beef about a group of people whether it's one group or the other. Go to a Sunday School class at church and you may endure a little bit of politics. That doesn't bother me. What concerns me is when you have a religious leader who heads the music department, and when you get ready to practice your choir music, you hear about school because he is a teacher and you hear about how some students don't match up to other students. He argues that they don't have the discipline. I thought that's what kids are there at school for, to be taught the things they need to know and to be taught discipline. Am I missing something? But, when or if they go on about intelligence, this is where I draw the line. It is not because the kids are stupid; it is because they are lazy or their parents don't discipline them at home. I have heard this "bell curve" argument go on and on and on with some church members reaffirming their old time racist beliefs and I don't believe racism and religion go together. There is no place for racism in any religion. Banning books is something I will always fight against. This is the reason I did not want Palin anywhere near the White House. There is one book I might ban and that is the book entitled "The Bell Curve," a book about how whites are better at this, how Asians are better at that, how black men have the biggest penises, and how Asian men have the smallest. It is a book I like to use as something I throw with. Just throw it from one place to another. Without the skin, we are all the same basically. The bones are bone white and the blood is ruby red. Adam and Eve may have been medium-brown-skinned people. As progenitors of mankind, they were able to produce people are all skin colors from the very fair to the very dark and lived almost 1000 years to be able to do so. Some of these religious people must not believe that or weren't taught. If they don't believe that, they must be followers of Social Darwinism
like Hitler, Mussolini, and David Duke.

Today's Bad Joke
Before I tell it, I want to let you know that I grew listening to pop and rock music, which includes Michael Jackson. I never have believed he was "Wacko." As an American and as someone who is not much of a dancer, the influence I get in regards to pop culture comes right from watching Michael Jackson. Also, SC Gov. Mark Sanford should resign! What a disgrace!
In this bad joke, the Lord God plays a genie, and this can be blasphemous in many faiths. So, here goes:
"Farrah Fawcett passed away to be with the Lord. She met God and God granted her one wish and one wish only. Farrah said, 'I wish for every child in the world to be safe.'"
"Her wish was in God's Command. So, he zapped at the world. BOOM!"
"Michael Jackson dies."
The Jackson haters never know when to give it up.

For Today
Many people I know are shocked over the Michael Jackson's death and I am rather shocked, too. I was hoping for his musical comeback, but he will always be remembered for me as the guy who performed the moonwalk, who can excite a large crowd who loved his music, for his music I liked the most that was recorded during the 70s and 80s, and for his flamboyance. He never did experience a normal childhood, so he tried to relive his childhood as an adult. The attacks he received from that Dung Hill called the Murdoch Tabloid Media were very unfair to him and this was one of the aspects that imprisoned him. Bad doctors, and nobody to treat him right away at the UCLA Medical Center. I don't know what to make of it. If he were in my hometown and this same situation happened to him, he may be still alive today at the ICU at Sparks. He was drugged up like Elvis, but the only difference was the type of drugs. Jackson was juiced up with pain medication. He had a doctor living inside his home who is a drug pusher. I believe he would have been better off with a pet instead. He had become one of many celebrities who died too soon. I can list a few of them.
Manuel Acuña, Mexican writer and poet
Marilyn Monroe
Jimi Hendrix
Janis Joplin
Anna Nicole Smith
Elvis Presley
Buddy Holly
John Belushi
Andy Kaufman
John Candy
Curt Kobain
Chris Farlow
The list goes on and on.
I like what the Rev. Al Sharpton adds to the memory of Michael Jackson. He is the Jackie Robinson of world-wide fame in the entertainment scene. He is the most popular figure in all the world and everywhere around the world, people are paying their condolences and making a tribute with respect for the life of Michael Jackson.

Interesting Day
The King of Pop, Michael Jackson has died. Also, Farrah Fawcett, a Charlie's Angel, lost her fight against cancer. Stop the Press, no coverage of the Iranian Protests for now. Hardball and the Ed Show were interrupted by the news that Michael Jackson lost his breath, was taken to the UCLA Medical Center, and later has died. This is quite shocking. The music I liked the best from him was from his album, "Thriller." He went through a lot. He was a great singer who had a broad musical, singing range. Never did I believe he was a child molester, even though he needed to be more careful when he is around children. There is not much more to say about this, but he will be missed. This unfortunately has occurred just when he was attempting to make a rebound in his musical career with a world tour in order to pay off his debts.
Farrah Pawcett was every young boy's dream back she was a Charlie's Angel. Her poster can be seen on every teenage boy's bedroom wall across this great country. I grew up liking her. I had hope she would win this fight for her life. It was not to be.
Very devoutly religious people will judge them and say they did not make it to Heaven or Paradise (Jannah). This is not for me to judge. I personally do believe they are in Heaven, but God is the One who decides.

Wow, I got my answer today!
Yesterday, I asked the question "What was Gov. Sanford excuse?" and man, was I in for a surprise, but he is a politician so, I am not surprised, except for the fact that he went away to Argentina to cheat on his wife and not spend Father's Day with the kids. Must I go on with this? MSNBC has been playing this all day long. This is the same man, who as a congressman, wanted Pres. Clinton impeached and convicted for his extra-marital affair. Now, after 10 years, the shoe is on the other foot. The corny song that Madonna sang is "Don't Cry for Me, Argentina." Gov. Sanford's song and dance is "Crying Over Argentina." He went to do the tango and other things with another woman and somehow, he is going to overcome this? Enough about '12, please! I am already had it up to my eyeballs over Election '12, which is turning out to be omen for Republicans. And what's up with the young girls smiling and giggling behind the scene when the SC Governor was having his Jimmy Swaggert moment? Do they know something we don't know? Is there more to this story? Did somebody pin a tail on the Governor's rear end? There is no doubt he did not spend his own money to travel to Argentina and back. SC taxpayers foot the bill. No stimulus for those people who are unemployed, which stands at 13% in that state and no funding for schools that badly need repair. Gov. Sanford is definitely out of the presidential running and may not complete his term as governor. He makes Blagoyevich look like a statesman by far!

What was SC Gov. Sanford's excuse?
You know, last Sunday was Father's Day and most of us got to spend time with our fathers or if you are a father yourself, you spent quality time with your kids. What was Gov. Sanford doing? Why was he away from his office since last Thursday? What was his excuse? It was to spend time alone; to get away from the kids! He went hiking on the Appalachian Trail! Well, there goes all this talk about "family values" the GOP goes on about defending! Well, there won't be none of this ridiculous talk about him running for President in '12. I hope the Grand Oil Party keeps shooting themselves in the foot. I wish the Dems would learn to stand up, act like they have a pair, and call the shot for Pres. Obama like a majority party should with health care reform and the Employee Free Choice Act (EFCA).

Does former Miss California deserve our prayers?
She took a stand. She spoke out against same-sex marriage. She took a hit from the media and the gay community over her stand. She did not win Miss USA over her stand and later on, lost her Miss California crown. If it was all she did by stating an unpopular opinion especially from California, I would say yes, she deserves prayers.
But, and there is this doubt in my mind. What about all of those semi-nude pictures of herself? Did that by itself cause her to lose her crown? I see some hypocrisy here. If she is a born-again Christian, as she claims she is, then why would she pose for these pictures? A beautiful woman like her, who is a Christian, posing nude pictures as these opinions were made known to the public. Many men see these pictures and are, at this very moment, thinking about her as I write. I have to admit. She is not like Heidi from "I'm a Celebrity. Get Me Outta Here!" Heidi and Spenser, the obnoxious couple from that show, who were kicked off the show, are the worse examples of devout, religious people I have even seen or witness on the tube! They get dunked and then they say they found Jesus! Heidi, as the great Mother Theresa she has become, is planning to pose for Playboy this fall, claiming that she is "the upbeat version of Mother Theresa." No, she is a big hypocrite! Again, she would have wolves lusting after her like they still do for Kim Kardashian. I say, "go Al Roker!"
Heidi and what is her name, Parjean? can never convince me to pray for them, except for their salvation and maybe to quit being such hypocrites as they have been with their lusty photos I don't need to see.

Obama's Approach on Iran
I support his approach to the situation in Iran. People there are not happy with the election results, so they are taking it to the streets. Coverage of the events are getting more and more restricted all the time, with news outlets relying on cell phone videos to get an idea what is going on. The president is staying quiet about this, while the GOP on the other hand along with John McCain, are quick to denounce the ruling regime, making the same mistake politicians did back in the 1950s when Mossadegh was replaced by the Shah. Iran is a sovereign nation and the president said that it is up to the Iranian people to decide what they want. For the first time in a long time, the USA is acting more civilized under Obama's leadership. And like they say at the local Fox 24 station, "it's about time!"

SC GOP Chair Makes Gorilla Comment about First Lady
It has been a while since I have written in this blog. But, I have reading articles from AOL, the Huffington Post, and others over this stupid comment made as a joke in reference to Michelle Obama. I find it was undeserved and uncalled for. Many bloggers argue, "What about Letterman?! What about Lettermen?!' Well, what about him. David Letterman is not a politician, he is not the head chair of a state or a national political party committee; he is a comedian/TV personality who makes fun of everyone. His comment about Sarah Palin's daughter at a Yankees baseball stadium was a bit much. He was not only taking a shot at Bristol, even though it was Willow at the game, he was aiming his target at Alex Rodriguez as well. It was very raunchy. But, again he's no politician. DePass, on the other hand, is and his comment may bring him down and certainly the South Carolina GOP's outreach to minority voters has now faltered with DePass's gorilla reference to the First Lady. I can't understand what she has done to deserve this. She's different, I guess. She is the first African-American First Lady. There are some in the GOP who don't like it. Many Democrats are sitting back and enjoying this GOP slide to almost non-existence. But, we still need a strong two-party system. Is the GOP going away like the Federalists did? Who could be the next party opposing the Democrats? The Green Party from the left? The Libertarian Party further from the right on economics, but on the left of social issues? Could Sarah Palin be the next presidential candidate for the GOP in 2012? If she is, it could be history for the GOP in politics.

Domestic Terrorism on the Rise
Three of them I have here listed.
The shooting down of an abortion doctor, Dr. Tiller, by a man named Scott Roeder at the church Tiller attended. (Wichita)
The shooting down of a recruiter and a private, enlisted soldier by a man named Abdul Hakim Muhammad (Carlos Bledsoe) in Little Rock.
And A guard shot down by an old white supremacist, Von Brunn at the Holocaust Museum in Washington, D.C.
The Dept. of Homeland Security had it right all along and there has been a rise of extremist terrorism since the election of Barack Obama to the presidency.
I have just read a thread of views at Liberaland and under the Van Brunn post is a couple of nut cases claiming Pres. Obama is not a citizen. My feeling about this is that certainly, Obama is an American citizen born in the great state of Hawaii. Also, to hell with what Rush, Hannity, Alex Jones, Savage, et al all have to say in order to tear down America and Obama's presidency. The media gives them too much publicity and for them to just quietly go away is for the media to stop mentioning them and giving them a podium and to give us some real news. There's a possibility that Ahmadinejad may be defeated from office in Iran. Don't these right-wing nut jobs realize that the speech Pres. Obama gave in Cairo may have sealed the deal to influence the Iranian people to vote Ahmedinejad out of office? Lebanon has elected a pro-American leader. To hell with what these tea baggers have to say about that!

Five Rules For Men
(1) It's important to have a woman, who helps at home, who cooks from time to time, cleans up, and has a job.
(2) It's important to have a woman who can make you laugh.
(3) It's important to have a woman, who you can trust and who doesn't lie to you.
(4) It's important to have woman, who is good in bed and who likes to be with you.
(5) It's very, very important that these four woman do not know each other.
LOL

Twitter-ing keeps me more informed
I signed up for Twitter and already I have a group of people following me. I learned how deceptive both Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity really are, painting Pres. Obama as the enemy and as a leader cozying up to terrorists. These guys are twisted and who are trying to fool? They are fooling those who want social engineering back in the government just like it was back during Prohibition. I do not listen to their radio shows since I work in those hours. Thank God! Alhumdulillah! These guys are always hoping to find people who don't read anything at all that listen to talk radio. They have always catered to the lowest common denominator, getting them upset and riled up, and to those who are not of the LCD, they are scaring elderly women and men and traveling salespeople with misinformation. I am thankful there are those from Media Matters and Fox Hounds who are following me and I, following them, keeping me informed on what these Father Coughlin wannabes are up to.

I'm back
I'm back and I don't Twitter, but I have started a Twitter page. I was gone all week from home and a lot has happened when I was gone. President Obama moves fast. One day he was in Cairo making his speech to the Muslim world, and the next time I see him he is at Normandy, France. He drives his critics crazy and this is what I like about him. By the time that stupid Senator Inhofe makes his comment about Obama wondering "what side he is on," the President is already in France before Inhofe blinks. But, I am concerned about rising unemployment as we get into the summer season, Normally, at the this time when the economy was good, the spending habits of American consumers shoot up at a very high peak. They are traveling, they are also working longer hours and overtime. There is not much of that going on this year. I don't have much more to say at this point. I am still getting over a backache I received during the time off. I am getting over it. I am still young enough to do get this passed me.

"Lazarus" by Silva
There is nothing I see that is Biblical about this prose and there is nothing in other religious texts, such as the Qu'ran that contains this piece of writing. I believe the writer who originally wrote this is named "Silva." I don't know for sure. I have copied it into a notebook, which I have kept for a long time.
"- Come, Lazarus. - shouted the Savior. And from the black tomb the corpse rose from revolt among the shroud, trying to walk, to tremulous passes, he sniffed, he groped, he looked at, he felt, he gave a shout and cried contently.
"Four moons much later, among the shadows of the dark twilight, in silence from place and time, among the tumbs of the old cemetery,
"Lazarus was sobbing to the lonely and was envying the dead."
