The Idolaters of Georgia

I watched "Hardball" last Wednesday and I saw a video of radio fat cat Rush Limbaugh talking on the phone to a congressman from Georgia, Rep. Gringing (I believe that's how it's spelt), and as they were talking, this congressman was apologizing to his little god Rush for saying bad things about him on "Hardball." When he was on that show, he was merely disagreeing with Rush as he was talking to Chris Matthews. This congressman when he was on the phone talking to Rush was kissing his ring, so to speak, kissing his behind, so to speak, and telling him how great the Old Great One Rush is and how constituents in his district were calling this congressman for saying bad things about Rush on "Hardball!" So, he pleases some of his constituents' wishes by calling Rush and butt-kisses Rush live on national radio and later, national TV! How pathetic! Most of these people who want Gringing to do this probably consider themselves born-again Christians, but their action speaks for themselves. His constituents are idolaters to the umpteenth degree, who don't care about the issues, who don't want to see the rebuilding of our crumbling infrastructure, who don't want a solution passed to get us out of a world recession, who really don't believe in God and apparently thinks Rush is, and who want gridlock in government so nothing can be done. Gringing was not very smart, unless he knows if he didn't call in to Rush's charade parade, he may not get re-elected back into office. We are talking about a state where whites overwhelmingly voted for McCain and blacks overwhelmingly voted for Obama. And I would guess this congressman's district is a white district, probably covering such places as Forsyth County and Stone Mountain. Never have I seen such display of political theater as this. It ranks up there with the impeachment and the ostracizing of Rob Blagojevich. Gringing kisses Rush Limbaugh's fat, drug-infested behind and worships him as Lord in front of the American viewing public. Again, how pathetic! Just like Rush has got some power to say who lives and who dies, especially in American politics. And Rush is a man who desperately does not want 'liberals' to succeed. He hates Obama and can't stand the fact he's the president now elected by the people. No, it's not 'liberals' that is bothering Rush. It's America that turning to a new direction. He doesn't want the country to succeed. So, he turns the GOP into a bunch of idol-worshipping, butt-kissing dittoheads who will do anything the fat windbag wants, even if it means the self-destruction of this great nation!

Many things

There has been an ice storm occurring where I live. No work today because of the bad weather and no school today throughout the area. Thousands are without power, so there is no way any of them can blog like I am doing today. I have been busy translating from English to Spanish some articles for a website whose personnel were looking for translators. The Share Islam site allowed me to translate some articles concerning the universe and the beginning of it. It's not easy to do, but the more I do it, the easier it gets. They were looking for translators in other languages such as French, Turkish, and Bosnian. I imagine they have some responses to their site. I'm afraid I do not qualify. So, this type of work has occupied some of my free time and as the weather improves, I will be back to work first thing early in the morning. Insha'Allah.

It's Smart to do the Oath the Second Time

I'm glad they did this. The oath was done the second time because President Obama knows what he's up against. The loonies on the right will say that his presidency was not legit. And this is the reason this had to be done, even though Obama is legally president anyway. Inauguration Day was a good day. I am already seeing a difference. The big news is the gradual shutdown of Guatanamo. I am very supportive of this decision. What to do with those captured? Send them back to their countries. Let's the authorities over there deal with it. I am afraid we will find more that are innocent than proven guilty. For those who are guilty, send them back. The most unpopular thing Pres. Obama can do this time is to send the prisoners states side. This is about like what former Pres. Carter did in 1979 when he ordered the Marielitos from Cuba to be sent to Fort Chaffee, Arkansas and this was what made Carter very unpopular with voters there in 1980. And it didn't help Gov. Clinton at all. Pres. Obama should not do that, regardless which facility in which state he sends the Gitmo prisoners. No, send them all back to the Middle East and Afghanistan. When American troops captured them in battle, why would the captured be sent to Cuba in the first place? They should have imprisoned them there where the fighting is at. This is another waste of taxpayers' money.

Also, lobby groups are getting the shaft from our new president. Good!

This is a big change from what we had before.

Bismillah Arrahman Arraheem

I have many things on my mind. I'm excited about what will happen Tuesday. It will be good to see Bush leave the White House. It will be exciting to see Obama and his family move in and I believe he will do as he promised he will do. Like what the American media points out and points it out very often, Obama has a lot on his plate to tackle once he get in. We have two wars, which were very unnecessary, a troubled economy, a rising deficit, trouble in Gaza, etc. This first thing I believe he will tackle is the economy. Personally, I think things will turn around in the economy because I am already tired of hearing the critics go on about it and unfortunately, they will go on about it because they did not vote for Obama and of course, they will not put the blame on Bush.
January 20 will be the new New Year's Day here in the U.S. when Barack Obama is sworn in as President. I don't care what these Ozark hillbillies think. I'm happy Bush is leaving and what he left behind, Obama and his crew will have to take years to patch it back together. If you watch Press TV, you would get the impression that America has lost its status as the beacon of hope and that it is up to the rest of the world, including Iran, to solve all of the problems there are around the world regardless if the U.S. is in it or not. Religious conservatives make an issue over whether George Washington or Thomas Jefferson were born-again Christians or Deists. But, the issue becomes useless for debate when everyone knows both of these Founding Fathers owned slaves. America, a free country for some, but not for all. Thomas Jefferson writes that 'all men are created equal.' Apparently, he meant white men; rich, white men. Because, he has held racist, evolutionary views about non-white peoples. Blacks were excluded and Indians could be 'domesticated' little brown white people. Was Thomas Jefferson a Christian in a sense Christians would believe? He wrote his own bible which today is called "The Jeffersonian Bible," a book of the Four Gospels that excludes verses indicating the Divinity of Christ. He was a unitarian.
I have visited both the George Washington home at Mt. Vernon, Virginia and the Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson, near Charlottesville, Virginia. Both of these places were big, "mac daddy," slave plantations. When guides are asked about these Founding Fathers and slaves, they rationalize away from really answering saying they were good to their slaves and it becomes a song and dance, trying their best not to demonize these great leaders.

Barack Obama looks up to Abraham Lincoln and some will say he does look up to Franklin Delano Roosevelt. It is amazing there are people today who don't much care for Abe or FDR. Some wish "the South" would have won and that's the reason they don't like Abe. And others wish America just sided with the Germans and that is one of the reasons why they don't like FDR. Prescott Bush, George W.'s grandpa, was involved during the 30's in a corporate plot to takeover the U.S. government from FDR and make this country into a Nazi puppet. The excuse some make for why they didn't like FDR was because FDR destroyed the free market and small businessmen lost everything under FDR. I believe that happened during the great depression under Hoover. If FDR was hated so much, why was he elected president and re-elected again, again, and again?
They are the same people who argue that he got us into WWII, provoking the Japanese to invade. Check out the John Birch "New American." Articles are written about this which I find are conspiracy-driven. I won't go into why they hate Obama. The internet is filled with this misinformation on reasons why don't like Obama, just like they don't like Abe or FDR.

The Preamble of the U.S. Constitution and I am quoting by memory.

"We The People of the United States in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, Provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."

I stand by it and for those say they do, do they really?
